    #51 Mime Bard variant Mechanical Changes: All spells no longer require verbal components, nor do bardic music abilities. Only those that can see the mime can benefit from bardic music effects.

    Thanks for participating in this thread also, John. One of the funniest moments we had when playing Castle Greyhawk was in your level. All of the players were avid Trek fans, so you can imagine what it was like when they found the three Trek-ish NPCs... They all have fond memories of that moment.

    If, in fact, you guys feel that the authors should apoligize, I assume Ray Winniger is automatically forgiven for later writing the Dungeoncraft articles? If anyone should be apoligizing, its the people the commissioned Castle Greyhawk, not the authors, who were only doing what they were told...

    I have sort of done this before, although I included a few Dungeon modules (3.0) here and there. The classic modules I used: Keep on the Borderlands (got from 1st-9th) Rahasia Expedition to the Barrier Peaks Steading of the Hill Giant Chief (didn't use the other two) Tomb of Horrors

    As Kirin'Tor stated, it's one of those spells that is at the upper end of the level 1 spells in terms of power. Still, I wouldn't go as far as making it level 2; maybe make the wizard casting it make a ranged touch attack (or, my favourite, a ranged attack using Intelligence as the modifier...

    Come now, Akrasis, no need to be insulting. I am quite sane and enjoyed Castle Greyhawk for what it was, a humourous take on a classic setting. I can understand why people didn't like it, but there are also some who did enjoy it.
