The elves in my campaigns tend to have kings. At least some elven kingdoms in FR have kings as well. The Qualnesti and Silvanesti elves of DL have kings for their kingdoms as well.

Can he cast this? He has an assassin in his group so he might not be good-aligned.

What spells do you have prepared? What does the wizard have prepared? Archer or TWF ranger? Type of fighter?

I like this one. One of my players is a huge Silent Hill buff though, so I don't know how I could pull something similar off without being completely obvious.
