That is too cool. It gives me some great ideas for my dream gaming table. How cool would it be to have something like this as a permanent tabletop with pics like that and 1" grid burnt into the wood. Now I need to go learn how to burn wood pictures properly.

The painting on them is awful, but we'll strip 'em down and redo 'em. And of course, they're pretty beat up. But we'll post some pics soon.

Yeah, having a gamer geek girlfriend is nice, until her bard ends up going -10 from the business end of your BBEG's Flame Strike and you end up spending the weekend sleeping on the couch. Not that I'm bitter or anything...

Ummm, this is going to sound wierd, but... Did the girl's mother game at a store in Massachusetts caled the 'Toy Soldier', though it later changed it's name to 'Chris' Games and Hobbies'?

Failing that did she game in the Portsmouth N.H., Kittery Me.,Bath Me., or Portland Me. areas in the late '70s, eary '80s?

I am about 95% certain that I've seen that very board before, when I was a rather younger man. Be nice to know if I am right.
