I got the idea from my homebrew has a viking type race and one player can't see them having any other bard type then a gesalt bard-barbarian so thats all he'll playt and if her doesn't play the party doesn't have enough people and as DM I just want to make all my players happy.

Would it work to have gesalt classes in the same party as non-gesalt classes?

I would also agree that it has something to do with age but even picking up a really good book at any age will give you the same feeling. I suggest buying Talislanta d20 and seeing if the feeling comes back.
