So I just got huge break and won a 100$ dolller superbowl bet(Go Patriots) and was wondering what books shouild I buy?

Black Company ($45) + Doom Boardgame ($55) = Lots of fun.

Denizens of Avadnu ($40) + Advanced Bestiary ($36) = Some really nasty monsters.

If you are a DM, buy Magical Mideval Society: Western Europe

A subscription to Dungeon or Dragon is also an excellent buy.

If you played D&D back in the 1980s, look for the Dragon Magazine Archive CDROM.

Those, to my mind, are the must-haves.

Alright to clear things up I am mostly a player but am starting to DM and I have the following:

Player's Handbook
DMG
MM I & III
Iron Kingdoms Character guide
Ebberon campaign setting
Arcana Unearthed
Unearthed Arcana
Libris Mortis
Races of Stone

Then definately get that subscription to Dungeon. Seriously. Any new DM with a library such as yours needs that magazine. You don't need any more player options to fill out your game. You do need encounters to yoink and insert in your game and you need fallbacks for when Satan vomits down your shorts and you don't have time to prepare a full adventure.

Assuming that you don't want to use some of the $100 on a valentines day sweetheart or something here are my suggestions

I would get And Everyone Else PDF -- all of the NPC class individuals you can shake a stick at $10

Ronin Arts campaign planner $5 to keep Phil happy and kick start a new GM

sharn City of Towers $35 Gives you room to play in Ebberon -- If Ebberon was Meh for you get Twin Crowns -- 3e but there is a lot to like about it -- and its $25

Races of Destiny $35 or Fiend Folio $35

$15 -- I dunno how about something from EN Publishing or the latest Dragon and Dungeon
