Alright to clear things up I am mostly a player but am starting to DM and I have the following:

Iron Kingdoms Character guide

Save enough of it to get the Iron Kingdoms World Guide which should be out in the next month or so.

A new GM should not be without a copy of AEGs Toolbox. Get a copy! Also, for the money, a dungeon subscription is well worth it if you plan to take the helm of a game on a regular basis. Just make sure that nobody else in your group has a subscription. Wildscape and Dungeoncraft are good buys if you need to kickstart the old noggin when whipping up an adventure or campaign.

I think the Dungeon investment could be a great one, but I'd check out a few issues first to see if it's to your liking.

And make sure they are newer ones that don't have complete d20 games inside :(

Consider this another vote for Midnight - an interesting take on the traditional D&D campaign.

I have heard someone saying RPG now will charge a $0.35 service fee on orders less than $6.40 in lieu of forcing you to spend more.

My advice is to absolutely go back and get these issues, especially if you think games in alternate genres might appeal to you & yours. In particular, Omega World from the Polyhedron side of Dungeon # 94 is superb. I bought 2 copies in addition to my subscription copy. I'm still using it. It's a great D&D d20 treatment of the very classic Gamma World game that I had in the early 80s. I believe that once you see how OW gives you all the tools for a complete campaign in about 40 pages, you will be much more discerning in looking at other campaign settings with much bigger page counts. That is what it did for me, and I've been playing & DMing for 25 years. Just my opinion--take it for what it's worth.

  • The Black Company Campaign Setting: $29.67 at Amazon
  • Dawnforge: Crucible of Legend: $29.71 at Amazon
  • Ex Machina $26.37 at Amazon

Total, $85.75 which more than qualifies you for free shipping.

Take the 15 bucks left, and get a pizza for your GM on March 4th:)

If I had $100 to spend with the collection of books posted, I'd consider maximizing the bang for the buck and going heavy with PDFs. Specifically, Green Ronin's Advanced Bestiary and Advanced Player's Manual are absolutely awesome and packed with material at a good price. E.N. Publishing has great stuff for a good price. You can never go wrong with Monte Cook and Malhavoc Press as well. Dungeon subscriptions are good, and honestly, as a DM, I still get tons of great ideas from Dragon each and every month. After you buy Advanced Bestiary (best monster book available, IMHO), if you want even more monsters, check out the product line of Silverthorne Games. I wouldn't spend anything on a WotC book, not that they aren't fantastic, but with only $100.00, they are going to eat up your funds fast!
