I didn't really get the side bar for casting spells for Rangers. I've decided (in lieu of me understanding) that if you have a Ranger with a spell casting sub class from a non LU book that you just go with that as it's probably a similar power level to Wilder.

Definitely an 18 rating in my games.

Having the Druid scout is a great idea. Let the party have fun coming up with plans on how to approach the object of interest. It’ll come down to Druid goes out to scout, sees something interesting, party goes to check it out. Sounds fun 👍

That’s not a solution to the problem in the fete and now though, is it? If one subclass has many more spells than another it’s going to be a poor choice; all things being equal. That’s similar to saying the OG ranger was fine because several years later Tasha’s was published.

I dunno man, at my table one player has an PHB Champion and rocks PHB feats and another has a retooled their Clockwork Soul to have the LU sorcerer base class with the Clockwork soul sub class. This is at level ten and we haven’t had any problems yet.

Dunno if this a bug but the weapon ‘war pick’ doesn’t have any information about it’s properties.

I've said that if anyone one at my table absolutely has to use an OG version of a spell when rebuilding their characters then that spell is the Rare version, made by them and they have to rename it as such.

I dunno man, my group is running level up classes with OG subclasses and it seems fine. They did not want to lose their subclasses at tenth level so we jammed the two elements. No issues like you’ve suggested yet. What’s you group’s play experience with level up?

The A5E Confusion spell seems to cause the Rattled condition. As opposed to the Confused condition (which is very similar to the table of effect for the OG5E Confusion spell). Is this intended? It's a little confusing.

I’d say to my players: which one do you prefer? Use that.
