A5E spells put saving throw information in the "spell header" content (which I'm not overmuch fond of).
With that in mind, the spell header indicates the spell calls for a Wisdom saving throw. Per the spell description, a creature that fails its saving throw is confused for the duration ("making them confused until the spell ends" - there's your reference to the confused condition) or until it succeeds on a repeated saving throw at the end of any of its turns, and a creature that succeeds its saving throw is rattled for 1 round.
