    Munchkins vs. Powergamers?

I think Powergamer is simply what Munchkins like to call themselves. It has the word Power in it and sounds much more cool and decisive than a term derived from "Singing Midget from Over the Rainbow" used to mean number-crunching-at-all-costs jerk.

    Favorite 2e modules?

I have almost nothing good to say about 2E modules. I recall really disliking the one about the Tattooed Girl and her Dragonman Paladin sidekick...the PC's got to follow them around and watch the events from their Novel unfold. Same with the one about the Gods no longer granting spells to...

Is Randy "Randolpho" from here (and formerly Nutkinland)?

What Makes a Convention Game Great?

In all honesty, until I went to Gen Con and gamed with EN Worlders, Convention games were something I hated/made fun of. I was serious earlier when I said that Piratecat at the helm was what made a convention game good, but he only narrowly edges out Psion, Rel, Kenson and Wil Upchurch. I hear...

Help me name my Runepunk RPG!

Gotta agree. Not trying to be contrary or anything, but Goreblade: The Alien Dragon Apocalypse sounds like a Heavy Metal themed game.

    Having a lower-than-average INT moment...

Does anyone have a printable 3.5E Character sheet they can post here? Can't find one on the Wizards.com site. Thanks in advance:)

    Dead tree D&D mags

I saw one called Polymancer on the shelves not too long ago, and while it seemed a little simple at points, I thought it looked like it had promise. Mind you, that was months ago.

How about "Witch" instead of "Warlock"?

Witch sounds fine--largely because I am in the "Too Many Warlo-'s" camp. But I'm still not convinced Warlord is much of a name either. I like them both conceptually, but the naming conventions are just troublesome.

    D&D 4E Women in 4E

I think you are just being disingenuous now. You entered the thread claiming that pictures of half naked male swordsmen were so rare as to be basically unfindable with an internet search...as compared to cheesecake Sword and Sorcery art. Here it is... The point is that Conan was the only...

    D&D 4E Women in 4E

Yeah, but my point is that even that picture met your requirements...and it came up on page one. You think the pictures I pulled from Google are more common to Harlequin Romances than RPG supplements? :\

Excellent rules for Crafting Mundane Items in the dwarf book. Also: Ben Durbin is super-cool and deserves your money :)

    D&D 4E Women in 4E

I just plonked "Barbarian" into google images and came out with these on the first page... ...which leads me to believe that, not only are the pictures you "couldn't find" easily, easily found, but they are in fact...the norm

But all that's being refuted is anecdotal evidence. Can't accept one and disregard the other.

No, it's not. And incidentally, I think your "unable to find anything but a pic of Arnold Schwarzenegger" argument--with that single post--went into the tank.

Well, the second one is Conan...I'd be fine with that. The further D&D moves away from Conan and his ilk the less I seem to like it.
