Totally agree...awesome book. Also, if you can find a copy of GURPS 3rd edition, theres a terrific Caravan Adventure in the back of the core book called A Caravan to Ein Arris. Run that if you can.

I agree with this one. It might well be the high point of Bastion Press's already pretty great catalogue.

Buy the Numbers from ST Cooley Publishing is pretty great. Any of the Campaign Planners from Ronin Arts are wildly worth the money as well.

It would've got my vote over Spycraft but for that one reason as well. Good call.

Spycraft 2.0 It's good for everything. Seriously. The rules themselves show you exactly how to easily make the game into everything from Old West to Cyberpunk:) Not just one of my favorite "One Book" rulesets, but one of my favorite rulesets period.

I'd probably be interested in Campaign Settings--I almost always am--but honestly, the true answer is that I probably have most everything I need.

While I'm sure my answer could change in a few months, right now the answer is Points of Light. I've been really inspired by Kiznit's use of Wilderlands of High Fantasy to make a campaign along those lines.

He was one of kind. Awesome mentor, excellent friend, great drinking buddy, terrific writer (RPG and otherwise) and a top-flight gamer. He's missed.

I've never been able to make D&D work particularly well with the "Most people are NPC Classes or First level" paradigm in play. SHARK really opened my eyes way back when he said that he just did away with it all and started running a really high-powered campaign. So...you know who's 1stlevel...
