I often see Decision Paralysis in my groups do to Bonus Action, so I'm all for eliminating these. Combat would be far faster if you you just have one Action to think about. But as he said, it would be a massive overhaul, which is hard to do in this Edition.

Why do you think the Fighter need a power-up? So far it seems the consensus is that the Fighter is (boring but) quite strong.

Interesting and I welcome any change to the standard Initiative System, but I cannot see this being faster. Also you already have to know at Initiative-Stage what you want to do (so what happens if the circumstances change)? On the other hand, the biggest timekiller in combat is the indecision...

I would try to get only one kind of rest, not just reducing long rest powers. For example instead of one long rest slot for Level 6 to 9 like you proposed, I would only give one slot that can be used for one Spell of Level 6+ but it comes back with a short rest. But converting long Rest powers...

I prefer the first Screen. I love the NPC and random Tables. They are much more useful for me then repeating obvious staff (what is a cylinder,..). Conditions and some actions (grappling) are obviously very important, but they could have used much less space for Conditions at least.
