I find myself too far away from peeps to join a conventional game group, so I'm seeking a group of people who like to play over skype using one of the virtual game tables. I'm a decent roleplayer with more than a decade of experience under my belt. :)

Our DM uses these cards with random effects on them whenever someone crits. Also, we ignore critical confirmation; a crit is a crit, period.

I envy you this. My group just hit second level, and we have been struggling. We have a fighter, barbarian, ranger, summoner (me), sorcerer, and a witch. The poor witch is our healer, and she's having a hard time of it; she has the healing hex, and that's all. No wands, no cure spells, just that...

I'm actually really happy that humans seem (so far anyway) to be getting the best option; one of things that bugged me about the alternative class features in many of the 3E books was that all the races got interesting options, while human got nothing. It's nice to see humans getting some love.

It effectively ruins my mounted summoner build; if I ever want to utilize the summoners most versatile power (summon monster) in a combat situation, I become a sitting duck. No eidolon, no fast movement, nothing. Just an average base attack bonus and a pathetic strength score standing between me...

I am really disappointed with the change to the summoner. The summon monster ability is pretty pointless now; either you have your eidolon, or a speed bump. Hmm, tough choice. Well, I'm gonna have to make a new character now that my halfling summoner is no longer valid. Other than that vexing...

My vote is for a very strong yay. I love psionics; sometimes I wish it was the main magic system instead of the vancian fire and forget method.

I voted for psionics. And I personally hope that Paizo does not model it on the vancian/spell slot casting method. The way I see it, what is the point of developing an alternate magic system if it is basically the same as the other system. One of the reason psionics in 3.5 has such a strong fan...
