The table of contents for the October DDI magazines are up, here (Dragon 404) and here (Dungeon 195). It looks like an interesting month and I'm not just saying that because I have an article in each issue!

In addition to the Pyromancer School for the Mage and Star Pact Hexblade, there was an alterate Fey Pact for the Hexblade; an Earth Domain for Warpriests; an eladrin Knight build that emphasized teleporting; staff fighting options for the knight, slayer, and thief; and an alternate class feature...

By definition, if you're grabbed you're also immobilized. All three types of monsters are supposed to work together.

The question would be who is developing 5e at this time? The staff they laid off? The guys working on the boardgames and skirmish games (who are also key RPG designers)? The guys promoted to managerial positions?

I really enjoyed playing my hunter; nice mixture of control with a strong secondary striker (maybe that's why the bladesinger seems very appealing to me). I can't wait until I get the chance to retrain my human at-will to twin strike and add a theme.

FYI, the author of that blog post now works for Paizo, so of course he's not allowed to talk to WotC R&D about certain subjects despite the fact that he used to work there and is friends with them. I doubt he blathers Paizo stuff to WotC R&D.

I like curses that provide both a boon and a benefit, kind of like the example they provided in the preview. It makes things more interesting IMO. Now just bring back the broom of animated attacks (or whatever it was called) which is one of my favorite cursed items.

Cool, the kuo-toa and sahuagin are getting the updates this month.
