D&D General The Canadian Influence on the Forgotten Realms

What I meant was the basic Westminister System, which IMHO is the worst Parliamentary system in the world, only the US electoral system is worse as far as democracies go.

D&D General The Canadian Influence on the Forgotten Realms

    1. Ed Greenwood would have been far more familiar with Canadian History and Geography when he started creating the Forgotten Realms as a child, it would have been apart of his education system and the region he lived in and explored. 2. I actually normally use First Nations or FN for short...

Unearthed Arcana Spells & Magic Tattoos: New Unearthed Arcana

Ghosts can also come from the Ethereal Plane. And really any plane can have Undead, all you need is a Necromancer and corpses. Honestly Summon Undead feels like it should be the Necromancy School not Conjuration because Undead have no unique planes, unlike all the rest except Beasts. Plus it...

And let me say I am sorry to hear about your dog. With corina virus on top of everything else, I think we all need better days. And thank you everyone for all kind words and votes of support at this time.

D&D General The Canadian Influence on the Forgotten Realms

Canada er I mean the Forgotten Realms merely claimed things from other settings to add to it's perfection.

In the GTA where I live (Greater Toronto Area, not Grand Thieft Auto!) are also very diverse, lots of Asians, Caribbeans, Iranians, East Indians, even in some of the more rural parts of the GTA where I live.

D&D General I am the Ranger

You know those things were you try and figure out what D&D class best symbolizes you, like what class am I. Sort of like a D&D personality test or just a state of what class you feel you have the most in common with life style with? Well I always I was a cleric because of my interest in...

D&D General The Canadian Influence on the Forgotten Realms

Oh by the way in 4e the Canadian "region" of FR according to the Living Forgotten Realms was Akanul. What this means in practice I have no idea. https://kewlkat.blogs.com/akanul/ https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/lfr_gta/info

There is Smoke Powder. And it's a mix of cultural elements, geography, and the way the setting is put together. And the Canadian influence isn't the only influence.

D&D General The Canadian Influence on the Forgotten Realms

Like I said, it's subtle, in some cases very, very subtle, but Canada does have rain forests like Chult, although the Temp is different and of course no living Dinosaurs, although plenty of fossils in Canada.

Critical Role Explorer's Guide to Wildemount Review

If they had toned down the 4e changes, focusing more on adding and tweeking then acting like wrecking ball (no destroying nations), 4e would have been awesome. There were awesome changes like Tymanther and High Imaskar, but it came at the expense of beloved regions like Mulhorand and Unther...

D&D General The Canadian Influence on the Forgotten Realms

To some degree in a broad sense, but the way it fits together feels very Canadian.

D&D General The Canadian Influence on the Forgotten Realms

First of all you really need to work on your geography. Canada has a lot of different ecosystens, desolate Artic Tundras, deserts (yes I said deserts, Forests of various kinds, Praires, Farms, Mountains, Oceans, Lakes, Caves systems, valleys, Temprate Rain Forests, massive urban spaces...

    D&D 5E (2014) Extreme Wizard Specialization

Way too impractical, look at the challenges that 4e faced when every single class (and even some races and other things) had their own set of spells/prayers/powers/ect... I would like to see more 4e spells/rayers/powers/ect... updated for 5e.

Critical Role Explorer's Guide to Wildemount Review

LMFAO. Deep fans of a setting have nothing to apologize for, there is nothing wrong with being passionate about a setting weather it's FR, Star Trek, Eberron, Altered Carbon, Planescape, Stargate, Spelljammer, Earth Final Conflict, Dragonlance, or Andromeda Ascendant. If some folks having...
