Cleared cache and all that. Didn't work. ENWorld steadily becomes more and more useless to me as it becomes harder and harder to navigate. Wondering if anyone can ever give a hand? Problems I complained about ages ago are still in effect, even though Spoony declared them resolved [because he...

In fact, the only button I have now is the "Fork" one. Quote, edit, multi-quote and anything else are gone. OK, in this ghastly white skin, the post button are back, quote etc. And I can see where the new post button should be, but it isn't a button. Just a link that says "Go to new posts"...

Just the default skin. But now that you've made me want to use it, I don't have the "quote" button anymore either. Windows Vista, using FF 3.0.5. Haven't fussed around in my settings here or elsewhere. All this started about the time this thread started.

I've been waiting to see if anyone else brings it up, but apparently I'm the only person who's lost the "view new posts" button? Haven't had it all week. Annoying as crud. I have to go to the end of threads and then try to track back to the last post I read. Real PITA for someone who can only...

    Misconceptions about 3.5...Answers

I've played in a large number of 3.5 games with DMs who didn't allow any splat books or third party material. Yet every single one of them allowed selected parts of Unearthed Arcana. Some classes here, action points there, hexes over yonder... Something. And it's in the SRD, which means even the...

    Changeover Poll

I can, off the top of my head, list five people I know in real life who stopped posting here because of the "hysterical" and over-the-top response to 4th edition, who felt shouted down whenever they said anything good about prior editions, not just 3.x. Yes, I recognize that things are a little...

    Changeover Poll

The group I'm in was playing Castles & Crusades when 4th Edition came out, and had been for almost two years, so we were all on the sidelines during the initial phases. Several of us, including both DMs, bought the core 4th Edition books out of curiosity and read them. When the Castles &...

    My anti-D&D LGS

I'm still baffled why the OP simply walked out of the shop at that point, and never asked another question. I sure would have asked some. I surely wouldn't come here and rake a store over the coals based on perceived body language.

When did I stop being WotC's target audience?

That would explain why 4E has been a non-starter in my city. The RPGA died here as far as I know about three or four years ago. If there's even a local chapter anymore I've missed it.

When did I stop being WotC's target audience?

You are jumping to conclusions as well. I talk to the shopkeepers and have friends at some of the big box stores, Hastings and Borders both, but my anecdote was based only on what I see, and I've been a retailer and retail buyer my whole life. I'm not going to expect you to trust my judgment...
