Stacking question, Giant Size + Expansion

You say that if you use less strong language people tend to ignore but I certainly didn't bother reading your post.

    Use Magic Device limitations

From a power perspective. Should have been more clear.

    D&D 3.x Purchasing animals. (3.5)

How much do animals cost if you want to purchase one? The only clue I can find is the warbeast template (MM2) which says that the market price for a warbeast of 3HD or less is 50gp/HD or 100gp + 75/HD for one of 4 HD or more.

    Use Magic Device limitations

I'm not sure what the rules have to say on this but a CL of 32 seems to be wrong.

What does IRL mean by the way?

    Druid feat selection

You don't need to take scribe scroll if you have someone in your party who can craft, like an artificer.

If you have SBG, you might find some valuable things in there.

    Imbue With Spell Ability

One question, what does IMC mean? I would rule that it only applies to prepared spells and not spells cast from wands, scrolls etc.

D&D 3.x Need advice on 3.5 cleric build

Yes, if there is a character with trapfinding, it becomes obsolete. And I do agree that a beginner should just go straight cleric. Although I would not recommend playing a healer, a cleric has much more potential to waste it on healing.

What kind of adventures do you run?

Yes, published material certainly does help inject creativity. And the second part is also true, there are things which the module doesn't allow for but which is very fun to do requiring writing the material yourself.

    D&D 3.x Action Points. (3.5)

I don't have it modified by charisma because I think that it has a tendency to create MAD.

    D&D 3.x Automatic failure. (3.5)

I was thinking of going with the 1 is one and 20 is 20 variant but I thought about it again and I decided that I would simply have 1 be an automatic failure and 20 an automatic success. I thought the RAW was not in need of any change.

    D&D 3.x Automatic failure. (3.5)

Do you use the 1 is an automatic failure (and 20 an automatic success) rule? If not why? Would you suggest that I houserule that 1 is not an automatic failure and 20 not an automatic success?

Intended Length of the Campaign at the Beginning

I start at first level and go to 20. I also may go for less. It depends on how long the players want to play with a certain character before retiring. I might play more than one adventure/plot during a campaign.

    What could possibly go wrong?

Alienating the players is definitely one of the most important reason why houseruling by inexperienced DMs can lead to a disaster.

Agreed, this is my reason for always starting at 1st level.

    Starting Level

It's really up to you, but you also have to consider that you have been playing for 26 years which is a long time so it's understandable. Now for me who have not been playing for that long, I think it's important to start from first level but that's because of the fact that I have not been...

Yes, story plays a major role in a persons enjoyment of the game.

One thing to keep in mind is to never lose caster levels.

    D&D 3.x Action Points. (3.5)

Actions Points were introduced in Eberron to allow PCs to accomplish heroic things. I use action points and I wanted to know whether you use them and why? If you don't use them, what are your reasons?
