The AoO happens before the action causing it does. Since you get the AoO when your opponent in 10' away, if you trip him, he falls down in the square 10' away. TS

The value of the spellbook should be the value of the spells inscribed in it, ie 100gp per page, where a spell of level X takes up 2X pages (0-level spells take 1 page). TS

When the opponent enters your threaten space, you don't get an AoO. When the opponent moves within that threatened space (ie when he moves from 10' of you to 5' of you, unless all he moves is 5') you get an AoO, BEFORE he moves (so he's still 10' away). TS
