Actually, in both of those cases, forced movement is still horizontal only. The line of effect may be vertical but not the forced move itself. And in the case of falling, the falling portion is not part of the forced move either. Falling is a result OF the force movement.

I checked it out yesterday and this software is fantastic. It seems to have the right chemistry - it's got mostly everything I want, it manages campaigns, encounters, skill challenges, you can make and print maps, its complex but not too complex, its pretty intuitive and for those things that...

I reread zones today and I can't seem to find that zones end at the end of your turn if you are outside the range. In PH, it says they end immediately, as opposed to end of turn. Can someone point out the relative rules text on that? Thanks. Edit: Nevermind, I see that Zone was updated in PH2.

If there is an "us vs them" attitude, it should be between Paizo and WotC. The consumers, meaning you and me, choose which system to play and support. We don't need to have the "us vs them" attitude flowing down to the people who support the hobby of RPG's which, whether you mean to or not...

In our last session, we had 2 encounters and 6 opportunity attacks split between monsters and PCs - 3 each.

Remember, that movement is handled differently than anything else. Each square of movement can be "interrupted" for example. See the rules on Readied Actions for this. In the end, I'd probably agree with Mort Q in that if its not abusive, might as well allow it. Still not entirely sure it...

I'm not entirely sure about this so I will play devils advocate for now. I'm not sure you can use an action during the resolution of another action. That is, you only can use free actions before/after other actions are completed. The only exception are interrupts but you can't use interrupts...

Maybe there is irony in your post, I'm not sure. But our group has a Dragonborn that has a PP that has at-will fly speed and a human with adroit explorer PP that allows him to have the same power multiple times....

After looking up occupied in the glossary I agree with you. It seems to talk about creatures only. Still walls should block LoE for attacks and auras.

Adept dilettante (sp?) rocks. Now if only my character had that long ago...
