Yeah. I just got H&H and am VERY impressed by it. I cant wait to see the rest of the Races of Renown series....I'd love to see an Elf book especially.

I'm really needing support for Green Ronins Hammer and Helm (well, the new feats at least). Anyway I was wondering how easy it would be to create my own set of datafiles....

Yeah. The Cyclopedia was cool. Our group even went back and played D&D for awhile because of that release. Was cool runnign around Threshold, Specularum and other places again.

Personally, I dont like to see computer hardware used in game. But thats partially because it doesnt really sit well with the atmosphere of a fantasy game; but mainly due to the fact that I like to get away from IT and our regular roleplaying sessions is one of these occasions.

There's also Sovereign Stone. I think it uses the normal spells, but includes a whole heap more... Or alternately, you could just dump the Sorceror and use all the remaining spells users the way Sorcerors are in 3e. Thats how alot of our 2e campaigns worked, becuase we didnt like the...

What, you mean it doesnt? I thought it would've covered the whole pantheon? or doesnt the BotR have any evil gods? But yeah, I would replace the Paladin with a system for Holy Warriors of every colour.

I dont know about changing anything, but I would have added a few more options. Like: A Spell Point system. Of course this would impact both on how Sorcerors and Psionics would be handled. An option so that PC's dont fight at 100% till they pass out - some kind of penalty system as a character...

Yeah. His bout of mercury poisoning seems to be over somewhat. From what I understand the first few scripts have been done. Its now a case of Brent, Will and Alex getting time to do the art.

There's also Living Imagination's Streets of Silver, which sounds pretty good.

Well, I'm definitely keen on seeing the Greyhawkish version even if the serial numbers have been filed off.

I really like realism (or grittiness) personally, thats one of the reasons why our groups system of choice has been Rolemaster. That said I also like the change of pace that the superheroics of D&D (esp 3e) gives me. Still there are a few thinsg that still bother me (its probably from playing...

Yeah. JMS announced it awhile back. As is normal for JMS he didnt say who though (he leaves those kinds of announcements to the parties themselves).

I certainly don't like this theory. Given one of the sources of the bearded female dwarves is Tolkien, I'll use this for elves as well. I certainly dont see much in the way of feminine qualities in Tolkiens Elves...especially guys like Fingolfin, Feanor and all his sons.

Hmm...and here I thought it was going to be a quaestion of how far away a DM with a cold had to be away from the players to not risk passing it on.
