That's silly. Luckily for the party, these are not your normal "afflicated" WereRats. They are, rather, "naturally afflicted". Meaning, they act like afflicted, but can pass the disease as well. Yeah, that's it. Anything that buried deserves to be ignored.

There are just way, way, way, way too many rules to this game. I'm using the following from the SRD: "Finally, a natural lycanthrope (or an afflicted lycanthrope that has become aware of its affliction) can assume a hybrid form that is a mix of its humanoid and animal forms. A hybrid has hands...

    Power Attack Woes :(

There have been many threads over in the rules forum on the subject. Plenty of math involved, and at anything except very high levels vanilla greatsword wins hands down. At high levels, the two weapon fighting monkey can maybe get close to damage dealt buy buying, well, 2 sun blades and etc...

POST Round 4 and Round 5 actions... ROUND 4: Makeup attack: Raz attacks the swarm as it moves into his square. It provokes an AOO by doing so. Missed this last round. Anyway, Raz rolls a “5”. Question: will Raz EVER hit? LongTooth 20 Hallidor 20 BatS 19 Slinker 17 Ogrin 16 Stinker 14...

    Power Attack Woes :(

This confuses the #@!!# out of me. I've never ever heard anyone at any time claim 2-weapon fighting was "uber" in 3.0. Never, not once, never. 3.5 did a lot to make 2-weapon fighting less feat-intensive (i.e. power it up), and it still is clearly and lamely sub-par to vanilla greatsword...

Thanks for the excellent post with complete stats. You are right, you don't bleed the round you are bit, only the round AFTER. So Raz has 18 HP's until I19 when the bats go, and everyone bleeds. The arrow does 1d4+3 damage due to strength, unless I'm smokin'. Just a BTW.

You can do this. An arrow is a makeshift weapon, "An arrow used as a melee weapon is treated as a light improvised weapon (-4 penalty on attack rolls) and deals damage as a dagger of its size (critical multiplier ×2)". In the future, quote the relevant rules for your PC if you want to do...

Everyone needs to keep track of their own PC's hit points. Preferably, when in combat, start any "action" post with a quick summary of your PC. Hit points, current AC, then action. I've got enough to keep track of. I've increasingly come to realize that D&D just has way, way too many rules.

Yeah, but LongTooth has a thing for finger food, and also enjoys a slurping or two of Toe Jam.

    Adventure:-- LPNN (Manzanita Judging)

Well I had to make the call. All LongTooth had to do was make a touch AC attack at -4. Odds were good that would happen. And once he's grappling, the -4 "to hit" penalty vanishes; it's not applied to grapple checks. So, Juliana would be risking at least a 50% chance of ending up in a grapple...

Boothill Battle, round 3, partial Correction to Round 2: Vargo, as he indicated in his last note, follows Huln to LongTooth and is ready to “aid another” when Huln attacks next round. Sorry, missed that movement. Further issue from Round 2: Ogrin wanted to draw his short sword, this...

You can attack when prone (although at -4) thus you threaten an area, thus you are capable of making AOO's. Thank goodness. Else trip-specialists would be even more powerful in 3.5 -- not something that needs to happen.

Prone Grappling, i.e. climb up their leg

Let's say Joe is prone next to Jane. Joe decides to grapple Jane, taking a -4 to hit on the touch attack. Jane gets +4 to hit on her AOO due to Joe being prone. Blah blah blah, billions of rolls are made. When the dust clears, Joe is grappling Jane. They are in the same square. Is Joe...

End of Round Two CONTINUED: I11: Juliana might be nauseated by all the freakin’ bat.s. “13”, nah. Juliana, not taking LongTooth’s taunts to heart, but seeing the situation turn a bit desperate, steps up to attack. She moves towards LongTooth, intent on tripping/attacking when he’s down...
