    So..um..how's that GSL coming along?

If I could I'd post the damn thing right now I would. The big issue I need to tackle is the SRD. As confusing as the OGL SRD is, I know the GSL SRD it massively more confusing. Unlike the OGL SRD, that said you can use x,y, & z free, clear, no questions asked, the GSL SRD presents alot of...

    So..um..how's that GSL coming along?

The ball is in my court and it has been for weeks. I have to get this out and until recently finding the time has been the issue. Not much has happened since I last reported anything here but it is now something that will get my attention. The changes to the license are done but it is the SRD...

There are some great questions and concerns in the thread. I would encourage you to go to the Subscription Launch Errors thread with this stuff so it can get logged by the appropriate staff. thanks

    Problems with WotC forums

Pay mode is not live so everything is still free. There was a small code drop today that added some additional functions to account management today. When I logged in tonight it had me set up three security questions for password changes. The boards seem to be up and running fine. The...

    Core Rules PDF's errata'd yet?

My point was not meant to imply "don't write to CS ever, they'll just spam me". My point was specifically "don't write to CS and ask for Core Book PDF errata" as that particular task is in the works. I think the feedback loop offered by CS is very important and should be utilized by you as a...

Name one thing you love and one thing you hate about 4e D&D

    Core Rules PDF's errata'd yet?

And this is what we are doing as I already stated. Is this directed at us or other publishers? As I have stated we are going to do this in the next few weeks so I don't quite see the need to comment. So do you consider our current PDF offering to be "priced reasonably"? Will you buy them...

    Core Rules PDF's errata'd yet?

Doubtful with us fully on to 4e although we are still going to put out some 4e updates to 3.5 books like Exemplars of Evil

    Core Rules PDF's errata'd yet?

I think it is a fair criticism. It is a matter of resources. On the inside typesetting always seems to be an area were we are crunched. It is often a case of cramming to much through a small department. We could probably stand to hire one more person but that is not my bailiwick. That being...

    Core Rules PDF's errata'd yet?

As books with errata get reprinted with they will also get a PDF update as well. This does not mean that any book with errata will see a print or PDF update. For books to get errata they have to be re-typeset to accommodate the changes. Errata also gets posted into the compendium. All...

    Core Rules PDF's errata'd yet?

Actually don't do this, all those emails take away from other questions they need to answer and/or end up getting forwarded to my inbox. We are aware of the need for an update and will make sure it happens in the next few weeks.

    Core Rules PDF's errata'd yet?

The PDFs will be updated with errata around the time the Special edition core books come out. The standard print core books will see it on their next reprint and that date depends on the rate of inventory movement.

Tell me about your D&D group

As it stands we play in a HR free room so although I would love too, Eric's Grandma would frown upon it. ;)

Tell me about your D&D group

It is still an interesting subject and very cool to see the make up of game groups. Things that stood out were: Age ranges Length of time playing together How many people are in multiple games/groups Diverse professions Families gaming together How many women are gaming

Tell me about your D&D group

OK, the big mystery and the reason I asked these questions is we are working on a story with a large business focused media outlet. The journalist is writing about a story about D&D. He would like to profile a group of D&D players who have been playing for a long time and do a “where are they...

Not only is this a fascinating social experiment looking at the make up of a game groups but will be very helpful for my project. I'll come back and tell you what I am working on Monday. Thanks so far for all the great information so far! :D There is still time to participate so keep them...

The Red Dragon's Interview is up!

As a brand D&D will always contain an element of humor. Part of this comes from the culture of those who play the game. Look at what we as players enjoy as entertainment; The Famliy Guy, South Park, The Simpsons, Monty Python. The brand does not take itself too seriously (as compared to M:TG)...
