    D&D 5E (2014) PROBLEM with Banishment Spell

Dog poo should work for most enemies. For those who don't find poo distasteful a holy symbol should generally do the trick. ... So a holy symbol made of faeces ought to be a good all-rounder.

    D&D 5E (2014) Agility-based katana wielder: is it possible?

Another option is refluffed barbarian. Uses str to attack but (when Unarmored) dex for defense, rage can be fluffed as battle meditation, greatsword can stand in for the katana. Potentially take the martial adept feat for something like parry or precise strike? Or just great weapon master...

D&D 5E (2014) What benefit to Delayed Blast Fireball?

Have an ally polymorph the Big Bad into a killer whale or something while you charge up the delayed Fireball. End one spell, trigger the next.

    D&D 5E (2014) Drawmij's Instant Summons: Am I Missing Something?

It's for doing the handoff in kidnapping cases. Wait till you see the hostage is alive and well before summoning the payment.

    D&D 5E (2014) Clerical Errors: Clerics in 5E

One glaring downside to the Trickery Domain is that its divine strike does poison damage. There are so many enemies immune to that, including; Undead, many Elementals, Angels, Constructs, Demons and Devils. It's a real shame because it has an awesome spell list and the Channel Divinity ability...

    D&D 5E (2014) I have the DMG!

Luckily any DM with half a brain won't be handing out broken item combinations. Any that are so careless deserve whatever scrambling they have to do to adjust.

D&D 5E (2014) A wizard with a "Boots of Elvenkind" using inivisibility spell

Listening could still work, depending how long the invisible person can hold their breath for.

D&D 5E (2014) Is the Tarrasque tough enough?

Sure, but to jump the height allowed by RAW really isn't bad. It'd allow 13ft typically which wouldn't be a ridiculous image considering Ancient Dragons could well jump at least that height when taking off.

D&D 5E (2014) Is the Tarrasque tough enough?

The square-cube law obviously cannot apply to such colossal monsters in their magical world, or they wouldn't exist in the first place.

    D&D 3.x 5E Feats Compared to 3E Feats

Default is zero +X weapons or armor, the game's math doesn't assume any. Magic item availability is entirely the decision of the DM.

D&D 5E (2014) Are Challenge Ratings of dragons accurate in 5ED&D?

Only if the DM plays the monster dumb. It's an ancient trope to fight a monster first when it's out terrorising innocents then follow it back to its lair to kill it.

D&D 5E (2014) Is the Tarrasque tough enough?

Yet we know that it is the case. Ipso facto, it can't be killed by flying mooks with acid splash and will use improvised thrown weapon attacks allowed by the rules.

D&D 5E (2014) Is the Tarrasque tough enough?

The Tarrasque is an immortal who have lived through eons. It'll have encountered Giants throwing boulders, and Dragons who would make appropriate targets. It has the intelligence and wisdom of an Orca, with a physiology fairly well suited to throwing. Improvised attacks are part of the RAW. It...

D&D 5E (2014) Is the Tarrasque tough enough?

Apes should be lower. Elephants aren't the only very highly intelligent animal at ~3 Int. Many other primates other than hominids throw objects, and as most monkeys would be less intelligent than a Baboon they would surely be Int 2-3. Throwing is as much to do with physiology as intellect, and...

    D&D 3.x 5E Feats Compared to 3E Feats

It's all up to the DM isn't it? As long as the DM is aware that by giving PCs +3 armor and +3 swords they may have to give similar bonuses (through equipment or straight stat-adjustment) to enemies such as Solars then it shouldn't be a problem.

D&D 5E (2014) Are Challenge Ratings of dragons accurate in 5ED&D?

If you honestly think they're too weak use their spellcasting variants.

D&D 5E (2014) Is the Tarrasque tough enough?

Nope, the problem is your assumption of what the Int scores mean. Elephants are Int 3 in the MM. So are Killer Whales. And Mastiffs. And Wolves. And Octopi. The Raven is Int 2. That represents very nearly all of the most intelligent non-hominid families/genera/species on our planet, and quite...

D&D 5E (2014) Are Challenge Ratings of dragons accurate in 5ED&D?

True, but one would hope that adventurers would be somewhat prepared when facing up against a dragon. Items/potions/spells for Cold damage resistance, fear immunity and so on. Spiked snow shoes. Otherwise, run away!

D&D 5E (2014) Kung Fu Panda: How do wildshape and monk class abilities interact?

You keep your class abilities "if the new form is physically capable of doing so." Obviously it's for the DM at each table to adjudicate. Personally I'd allow mental (non-spellcasting) abilities such as Rage, Stillness of Mind, Half-Orc Savage Attacks. I wouldn't allow more physical traits...
