    PC Mites?

Keep in mind that the CR of an NPC with class levels is generally 1 lower than their total levels, so a level 1 PC is going to be less than CR1 in any case. Mites have a number of excellent benefits (DR/cold iron, 120 ft darkvision, the scent ability, spell-like abilities, they are fey and thus...

Pathfinder 1E half draons in golarion

I was reading 'Dragons Revisited' for Pathfinder today, specifically the blue dragon section, and it does mention that blue dragons produce more half-breeds than all the other dragon species combined. I have to assume if there is an exception to the "no horny half-dragon making machines" rule...

    Domain spells, arcane spells?

No. If they are cast by a divine caster as part of a domain (eg. fireball), then they are divine spells. Similarly, a bard casting a cure x wounds spell is casting an arcane spell, and a sorcerer with a normally divine spell granted due to their bloodline (eg. entangle) is casting an arcane spell.

    Best Adventure Path

For minimum conversion work, you may wish to suggest one of the first four adventure paths, as they were designed for 3.5. All are excellent, but I would rate them as follows: 1. Rise of the Runelords 2. Legacy of Fire 3. Curse of the Crimson Throne 4. The Second Darkness I have played in...

    My PF Questions

For example, a creature has a strength score of 35. You would locate 25 on the Carrying Capacity table. For Str 25, light load is anything 266 lbs or under, medium is 267-533 lbs, and heavy is 234-800lbs. Then, to find out the capacities for Str 35, multiply by 4. Light load is 1064lbs or...

    Looking Good

The main Pathfinder rule books are pretty divorced from the world of Golarion, though the Golarion books are also quite excellent. You will find about the same amount of ties as the 3.5 books had to Greyhawk (default god names, and very little else). The conversion guide from 3.5 to Pathfinder...

    Looking Good

The previous Campaign Setting came out in 2008, and was for 3.5. The new Inner Sea World Guide is a a revised and expanded version of that book, and is fully compatible with the Pathfinder system. If you are considering running Kingmaker, you may also enjoy the Guide to the River Kingdoms...

    Looking Good

This would refer to a series of six modules (an Adventure Path) called Kingmaker. I would highly recommend it, and I am not alone. :)

    Other "paladins"?

Heh, I just downloaded my subscription copy and was coming post that the 10-level version was indeed in the new campaign setting. Thanks James!

    Other "paladins"?

Pretty much, though I believe the designers had mentioned that a 10-level version of the Hellknight was coming. Not sure what book (possibly the World Guide?) as I could not locate the quote.

    Other "paladins"?

The Crown of Thieves Adventure Path (specifically Part 3 - What Lies in Dust) contains rules for the orders of Hellknights, a series of LN/LE knightly orders based in Cheliax in Golarion, which venerate the orderly nature of Hell. This includes a 15 level prestige class called the Hellknight...

    Horses and XP?

Exactly, PCs are the only things that earn and level by experience, barring cohorts, who gain experience based on a fraction of their associated PC, but do not detract from group experience. A horse could advance if it were an animal companion. Beyond that, you might advance a horse using the...

Three person party.. does it work?

Possibly. You'll also find that a 3 person party will gain levels faster, as the experience is being divided by 3 instead of 4. That said, the difference isn't exactly perfect, for the same reasons that a gestalt character isn't as effective as two standard characters. After 7th level, you...

    Looking Good

The way they sort of describe it is that the 'current year' moves along with the real year (so something published this year will have 4711 AR listed at the current year in campaign material), but all of the setting material and adventures don't have a specific start/end time, and so the...

The world guide is due out later this month, actually. You can reference it here.

Need Ranger build and/or advice please!

Treantmonk's guides are useful, but also annoy me for a string of cookie-cutter characters that have shown up in my Pathfinder campaigns. Thankfully, that trend has subsided since the APG came out, but the guide itself is still worth a look. I do not believe they include information from the...

Pathfinder 1E New to Pathfinder... Questions!

The Warmage was non-open content from D&D 3.5, so cannot be converted to Pathfinder as part of an official Paizo product, though a third party may have made another class also called the 'Warmage'. I have not heard of the Arcaknight before, which would suggest that it is also third-party or...

Redundant Rogue Talents? And Major Magic.

Oh, that's a good point. I think you might even get iterative touch attacks on subsequent rounds of use. Good catch!

Redundant Rogue Talents? And Major Magic.

This may be the source of my confusion. Reading back, I can see that you were referring specifically to wands using a ranged touch attack, such as scorching ray, as per statements made by Transbot9. Out of context, it looks like you were referring to all wands. Sorry for the confusion. I...
