You don't think they'd do it to find out what happened? I didn't think they would ask about the phylactery (how would they know to?) but instead use SwD to help track down the resistance.

A simple Speak with Dead will reveal that the Resistance took the phylactery and if they can scry/track one of the resistance fighters by using an arrow from one of the archers, that would help find it much quicker.

Part of me want's to see Redcloak be saved. Maybe even atoned. In Start of Darkness, he didn't come across as evil, and instead as doing what he does out of some misplaced honor. Ooooooooooooooooooo........... This too.

For me, there are too many "action scenes" and not enough landscapes, sweeping vistas and travel/adventuring scenes. The 4e preview book Worlds and [Something or other] had some really beautiful scenes that evoked that sense of wonder I recall as a kid.

Outside of the virtual keyboard, how do you like it? This is the one I am looking at, though I am thinking I will wait just a little longer until next gen of Android tablets are out.

So, Xykon is still in Azure City, right? Is that a gate or part of the snarl or both? I feel lost again -- it's been a while since we've been back with this story line. I liked the panel with the Otyugh. :D (And Azure City has some pretty tall buildings...)

No offence, Oryan77, but your comments (which come across as sarcasm to me) appear as nothing more than sour grapes. I would hope that you can be either open-minded about 5e threads or simply not participate.

OK, admittedly, there doesn't need to be 7 threads. But if they are discussing different specific aspects or wishes with regards to 5e and people didn't want to derail other threads, I don't see an issue with it.

I agree with this. I don't think the discussions have anything to do with people wanting the "new shiny". There was some serious fracturing in the D&D fanbase after 4e came out and I think WOTC feels that bringing Monte back to ruminate and float thoughts and ideas out there may help better...
