If you dislike the principle of lots of 5e threads, why are you adding to the 'problem'?

This isn't a 5e thread. This is a 6e, 7e, 8e, 9e, 10e, 11e, 12e, 20e, and 21e+ thread.

I'm just doing everyone a favor and keeping the discussion of these editions all in one thread. I don't wanna bombard the new 5e forum with discussion after discussion about these editions since, well, we no absolutely nothing about them or when/if they are being released.

Anyway, to get back on topic, has anyone heard anything from Vin Diesel? I'm wondering if he's going to be involved in 7e at all?

No offence, Oryan77, but your comments (which come across as sarcasm to me) appear as nothing more than sour grapes. I would hope that you can be either open-minded about 5e threads or simply not participate.

Wait... Isn't starting a threat about "not discussing 5e" still discussing 5e?

It's like saying "Don't think about a pink elephant" to somebody, but they'll think about one anyway.

Or, telling a Cylon, "Don't think about the Final 5" But even though their programming forbids them to think about the Final 5, by not thinking about the final 5e is still thinking about final 5.

I am just being sarcastic about the whole thing, but it's not meant to be taken 100% seriously. Having that many threads seems pretty excessive for something that doesn't exist & may not exist for another 10 years, but I'm not actually annoyed by it.

Only if people come into the thread and start talking about 5e when they are supposed to not be talking about 5e.

You can "think" about 5e all you want. But if you guys keep bringing up 5e in a thread where we aren't supposed to talk about 5e then I will be forced to report you for trolling 5e discussions and causing me to think about 5e and mention 5e in a non 5e thread where we're not supposed to discuss 5e or anything related to 5e.

The 6E threads will start the day after 5E is out. When the first person dislikes 5E, then post what he hopes 6E will be like. Then 30-36 months latter they post the 7E rumors. Maybe 7E will be played only on netbooks or laptops, or maybe smartphones, and people will pine for the old days when you had metal or plastic minis, not electronic minis on a virtual table top. Screaming its not d&d if you roll e-dice. Long live d&d!
