There's also the Ghostwalk campaign option book by Monte Cook and Skip Reynolds (?). Which, due to some stupid decisions by WotC - namely, releasing it as a 3.0 book mere months before the release of 3.5 - has been greatly overlooked. Some interesting material in there. jtb

well, I would say the last two hundred, really - witness some of the Dumas' writings, about Camille (La Traviata/Moulin Rouge's storyline, set more than 50 years ago!) and some of the women in the Three Musketeers.

Actually, based on the weight and sizes listed in the PHB, it's not even close. They're more like tin with a bit of gold paint dabbed on them. They have a real-size illo of a gp, that's an inch across, and they are supposedly 50/lb. In pure gold, they'd have to be a fraction of an inch thin...

That's a really interesting idea - and mirrors the idea I have with clerics of ORB. They must choose the sun domain; they may take one other domain of their choosing with few restrictions. (No death, evil, destruction, etc.) (They also have the option to take the Unearthed Arcana cloistered...

The wording on the power leads me to believe that it can only be applied to a die roll in which there is a chance of success or failure. Kind of the inverse of the Take 20 rule. Therefore, it couldn't be applied to HP, or randomized effects of spells, etc.

EXACTLY. And, your standard RPG hardback book or 3-ring binder fits so neatly inside I'm tempted to think that EGG was really a dairy farmer.

As a note, the Musketeer, the Frontier Marshal, and the Flying Ace are all prestige classes, not Advanced classes... jtb
