Playing Undead?

The book titled "Undead" by AEG is very, very good for this. I am presenting one of my players the opportunity to play a Mummy Paladin briefly...we'll see how it goes

There's also the Ghostwalk campaign option book by Monte Cook and Skip Reynolds (?). Which, due to some stupid decisions by WotC - namely, releasing it as a 3.0 book mere months before the release of 3.5 - has been greatly overlooked. Some interesting material in there.

Are there any published rules for playing undead in 3.5? If so, where?

What are you thoughts on playing undead characters in 3.5?

Is Mouseferatu really undead?
As others have said, Libris Mortis has some rules. As for Mouseferatu, he doesn't seem like an undead, but then again, vampires are pretty good at masquerading as humans...

I've love to see a WoW-style "undead" that are basically human (e.g.: no fancy schamcy vulnerabilities) with cool undead-sytle abilities. That'd be totally sauce.
