    conversions posted! :)

Maybe letting us forum members do conversions and you guys just pop in once in a while and approve/disapprove of them. Other than that, we can just keep prodding and poking you guys to gwet shakin. :p Seriously, It is sad, but I'm just as happy seeing them pop up in Dragon Magazine as I am...

    Converting True Dragons

Yeah, . Umm, Swim, Survival for sure. Spellcraft is interesting, but: What I would LIKE to see though, is a side bar with the following - "If you have the book Tome of Magic, a Tlalocoatl has Truespeak as a class skill instead of Spellcraft." I just think that Truespeak fits the...

Should we convert the Dukes of Hell?

Let's give the dukes some attention, and convert them. Though all of them? That would require more pages than just one Dragon Magazine. But perhaps some of the biggies can be done at once.

Oddball animated skeletons -- any suggestions?

A Skeleton, Skin Kite (Libris Mortis), and Raiment which were once all the same body and are now following each other around. As a note, I created an epic spell that animated one corpse into something like 7 undead. I believe I had a Skeleton, Skin Kite, Brain-in-a-jar, Bloodmote Swarm...

    Opium Demon

Hmmm, Opium Demon conjures an image of a leather and chains-rock star-type red-skinned demon with an opium breath weapon. Either that or a large animated drug store.....

According to the ToC now at the Wizards site, the Rot Grub and the Ascomid have made it in the book.

    Ecology Of...

I *love* Monster Mythology. Decent background for monster deities that got next to no love before.

    Ecology Of...

Hmm, if you add Oreads, should you add the waterfall version Fossergrims as well?

    Tuna-of-the-Eternal-Waters

Agreed. Possibly the loss of its Tsunami power, Slime Power, and Movement is severely cut. Also, Te Tuna was able to move on land as a person, so I recommend the typical nerfed 3.5 Change Shape (into a small or medium humanoid) further limited to merfolk and human.

    Tuna-of-the-Eternal-Waters

Hmm, not a bad idea. As we are going epic though, should we up it to maybe Dominate Person?

SRD monsters in the new statblock format

Dalamar, you have inspired me. Now I am doing a new statblock format for the 3.5 monsters on the Creature Catalogue site. Only the "Converted Monsters" section though :P

    Tuna-of-the-Eternal-Waters

Or perhaps something Abolethy... Like a progenitor to the Aboleth or perhaps a castoff mutant alien Aboleth.... (Just tossing ideas out)... Yeah, a slime attack would be cool...

    Unconverted Forgotten Realms creatures

Hmmm, now that I think about it. I think he may have been given stats in the BoVD, as a servant of Orcus (in orcus' entry). I'll check when I get home. Nope, not in BoVD. And, yes, he is mentioned in FC1. The only stat that is given is his Sense Motive check (+30) and mentions that he is a...

    Tuna-of-the-Eternal-Waters

Hmmm, evil after that description, yes. But not necessarily Chaotic. I am not adverse to said tuna being Chaotic, I just want to make sure we know why we are making him such.

    Tuna-of-the-Eternal-Waters

Hmmm, he is listed as having the abilities of a 17th-level fighter (Lord was a title for fighters of 9th+ level in AD&D). But at 48 HD, that would cover all the feats it would need. As an eel-like being of immense size, I would think possibly a Constrict attack may be appropriate. Possibly some...
