In my experience, adding the Cold subtype to a creature in a cold environment actually weakens it (despite it making sense) as everyone stocks up on fire spells not cold spells.

Thanks. It's applied to the Brain in a Jar monster. It looks like the Cha stacks (it doesn't have Str) as does the natural armour bonus, but the fast healing does not. It's on page 27 of Prisoner of the Castle Perilous for those who wish to reference it.

It only specifies for the spell-like abilities. The reason I ask is because it has fast healing 3 (which becomes 6, 9, 12 ???) and also +2 Str and +2 Cha (which become +4, +6, +8 ???). I dunno, for an unusual template (one that can be taken multiple times), WotC did a really crappy job...

The Evolved Undead template (Libris Mortis, p. 100) says it can be acquired multiple times. How does that work in regards to its fast healing ability? Or does taking the template multiple times only grant extra spell-like abilities?

IIRC, there's a feat that allows you to use Dex modifier to damage with thrown/ranged attacks. Does this ring any bells? I can't remember the name...

Is there a bladed gauntlet in 3.5? One of my players wants to use the 3.0 bladed gauntlet but said it isn't in 3.5. If true, anyone know why? Does a spiked gauntlet do the same thing?

Maure Castle appeared in Dungeon #112 (July 2004). I checked it but didn't see any table... Was there a later Maure Castle adventure? (I seem to recall there was another level added in a later issue, but I could be wrong...)
