Whatever the logic of how many attacks a monster gets, they shouldn't be making monsters weaker! Currently, there are plenty of low power monsters, and quite a few ultra-high power monsters. . . but the monster bracket in the middle just isn't very competitive with the players!

I like the idea of piety points, or rolls to determine the mood of your deity. Either system or both would be helpful in drawing a distinction that is sorely lacking in 3.x. I agree that the spell lists should be completely separate to the maximum extent posible.

The other poll was an attempt to determine which marketing groups WotC should be targeting w/ 4E. I grouped together ages with similar marketing profiles. It wasn't just a random poll on how old people were.

I think this poll isn't going the way you hoped it would. It pretty much answers the question why WotC is going with the Warlock over the Psion (not that its really a one vs. the other decision on their part.)

Ultimately, all the complaining online about the new edition "its to soon" "I've got too much invested in 3.5" etc. is pointless. Its not going to change the fact that 4th edition is coming out and its going a certain direction (whatever that turns out to be.) Most of the complainers will...

. . . and of course. . . because of those rules which we all know and love and take for granted. . . it defies the laws of physics for her to benefit from having a hard skin AND wearing lether armor!! As soon as she puts on leather armor, her skin becomes soft again (if the leather is better)...

It is true that at higher levels, moster HD, AC, ATT, and abilities just couldn't keep up with the PCs - making it harder to find worthy critter-type opponents for them.
