D&D 5E (2014) Comeliness: An Add On Module for 5E

What? I mean no offense, but what's the point of this? It stank in UA and I can only hope it doesn't fit in to 5e either. Possibly also, I'm missing some humorous aspect to this but that's what I get for posting tired.

Amidst all these feelings of unconcern.... Ech. Disregard.

    Pathfinder 1E Paizo site down?

It's been down for me for about two hours now, using Firefox 3 (though checked in chrome and IE). Came here looking to see if anyone else was having this problem.

    Operation: Power Level Gary

Bah! The best thing about this is I keep getting distracted from doing other things which I "should" be doing in lieu of rereading these threads. (Which is doubly awesome as they're what drew me to EN world in the first place.) The only downside is that the threads (esp. V through VIII) keep...

Nearing 100000 members - How did you find En World?

In 2004 I did a google search for Gary Gygax, wondering what he'd been up to and it led me to the awesome thread(s) he had here.

The Media That Inspired Your Imagination

Off the top of my head.... the original Clash of the Titans Conan (both, and for separate reasons, REH and the first film) the Sword and the Sorcerer (Lee Horsely!) Raiders of the Lost Ark Iron Maiden, lots of other NWOBHM A wrinkle in time H.P. Lovecraft, Michael Moorcock, and Fritz Lieber (I...

How many RPGs do you play?

In theory, lots. Time limits what one can play of course. Right now I'm playing Pathfinder, running a pulp game with d20 modern, and we've a Traveller game on hiatus just recently. Oh but for infinite time and energy....

Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder Campaign Website Template for Google Sites

Pretty cool. I think you've just persuaded me to use Google Sites to host my next campaign.

    Help me make halflings cool!

The halflings in my homebrew are the world's consumate traders - in a more than a little Ferengi direction. Having a prodigiously high birth rate and originating from an island chain, they're an aggresively gregarious folk who control several large trading consortiums.

The Rite Review (PFRPG) Free E-zine!

I believe the download link is borked - it took me to a wikipedia page. (Browsing on Firefox if it matters.)

What are you playing that is NOT D&D?

In the past two years some Traveller, a bit of Wild Talents (which never really got off the ground unfortunately), a bit of d20 Mod here and there...some M&M and maybe a bit of Gurps. Before that a rather railroady WFRP 2nd game (love the game but hated that particular campaign) and some...

How much suspension of disbelief do you require?

    1. If I can't accept the premise of the game world then I'm out of there. I prefer the games I play in and GM to have a certain degree of internal consistency. However, and I think this is an important point, suspension of disbelief is not the same thing as immersion. (To me, most of the...

Pathfinder 1E Mass combat in Pathfinder

Kingmaker, the next paizo AP is supposed to contain mass combat rules - in part five IIRC.

    What setting are you using?

Homebrew. Mind, I've worked some of their adventures (not the paths, just the individuals) into my campaign(s) before Golarion achieved any kind of real (to me) cohesion. In fairness, generally I'm a homebrew person, and seldom go with the published campaign world for a given game.

Lone Wolf sends Cease & Desist letters to anyone using the term 'Army Builder'

Lone who? As a (potential) consumer, it's never good for a company when the first I hear of them is bad press. Privateer Press? They I've heard of.

    declaring actions

When I'm GMing, I ask my players for the statement of intent before rolling initiative. Less confusing that way (especially in large groups). In games where I've been a player, there's generally at least one person who takes 20 minutes to decide what they're going to do, and in the middle of a...
