what does a CLW potion taste like in your world?

NyQuil green death flavor! If I'm feeling particularly generous I'll throw in a NyQuil red death flavor. Who said healing potions are supposed to taste good?

    Help me find a spell

Yep, hallow is the one. Thanks, I knew I could count on someone here knowing what I was talking about.

    Help me find a spell

I thought there was a spell in the PhB that allowed you to attach particular effects to an area. Originally I thought it was Consecrate but that wasn't it. I know Permanency can do something to that effect, but I thought there was another, Divine option. I flipped through the spells, and...

    Dungeon #125 - August 2005

Well it looks like another 3 strikes and your out for me. It's not that I don't appreciate the Advenutre Path stuff, it's just that I'm waiting until a few more are out before I start up a campaign with them. So far I have yet to be impressed by any of the Eberron stuff and the other adventure...

How Has the Internet Changed the Way You Game?

I think the biggest impact the internet has had on my gaming is the access to the massive community of gamers, ENWorld in particular. I've also worked on campaign world development with a friend almost entirely over the net, so much so that the resources are now only available online. Now that...

D20 Apocalypse: Other Ways to End the World?

Okay, now this sounds interesting, it's going in my file for future use. I can't believe your players weren't interested.

What would you like to see dropped from Dungeon?

Die Downer Die!!!! I really can't stand Downer and I suppose if Erik Mona has to go too, so be it. ;) Honestly I wouldn't want to see Erik leave, I really like the direction he's taken the two magazines, I'll just continue skipping Downer just like I've always done. Of course this is just idle...

So what do/did you study in college? Did you bother with college?

Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. Took me 7 years to get it, but that was because I took a true philosophical approach and also studied History, Political Science, English Lit., Creative Writing, and Business. Of course, all that education and I'm using none of it in my real world job and all of...

    Too Beautiful

I played a dwarf ranger that was ugly, smelled bad, only took a bath when he had to cross a river/stream and really didn't do well in social situations (Cha 7). In fact he was fond of the fact that he could scare small children with his hideous appearance. It was kind of entertaining...

    I have d20 Past

Srd? So does anyone know if/when any of d20 past is going to be added to the d20 Modern SRD? I know there isn't a lot there that isn't campaign specific, but it'd be nice to have what little there is online (and available).

    Dice superstitions

I put misbehaving dice in a timeout box, and I make sure that all my other dice can see that it is being punished. I also try to make sure that all my dice are sitting with their highest roll face up (expect for the d4's of course). One of the guys I used to game with broke a misbehaving d20...

    Why Paladins Rock

Oh...my party is going to be in for such a surprise. Thank you Kigmatzomat, your inspiration is going to make my party's paladin's head explode.

    Sigh - April 1st again

I hate April Fools Day :\ At least the last few years the April Dragon hasn't been a complete waste of paper.

Something I'd Love to See: d20 Modern/Past minis

Historical miniatures, while not a booming business, are still around you just have to look a bit. I don't know the exact scales, but they might work for d20 Past stuff. I know the mold company that I purchase from (The Dunken Company) carries miniature molds for the Napoleonic period in 25mm.

    Character Suicide

Generally I don't believe suicide has a place in heroic fantasy. However, I do believe that martyrdom does, in fact in the first (IMO) d20 game Torg a player could be rewarded for being a martyr. This particular attribute of the game led to many a situation where the rest of the table would be...

    Worlds Largest City - Mistake?

Those are errors, those are AEG features. If you look at any of the d20 sourcebooks they put out you will find they all suffer from grammatical/spelling errors. It's funny but I've only found this "feature" in their one word title sourcebooks (i.e. Mercenaries, Dragons, Dungeons, etc). Their...

[Midnight] Escape from Shadow – OOC

I am soooo interested in this PbP. I've been aching to play Midnight since it came out, but never had the chance. I'm swamped right now or I'd be posting a character. I'm going to lurk though, because I'm really interested in seeing Midnight in play.

    d20 Modern Resources

Wow! Thanks for the response, there is far more out there than I expected. Should keep me going for a bit. Let's just say I'm kicking some thoughts around.

    d20 Modern Resources

With the loss of Polyhedron (I know a bit late, but I only worry about things when it affects me) what resources are out there for d20 Modern (and it's spin-offs, Past & Future). I don't me the big stuff (i.e. Players Companion) by the Game Mechanics, I mean little things, adventures and such...

    How many gaming groups?

I entered zero, having moved to isolated small town Idaho (where I know of one confirmed gamer besides myself) I am no longer a part of a face-to-face gaming group, thus my zero entry. Before the move I was in the 1 group category (playing twice a week), but I'm definately not the "there can be...
