What monsters do you want to see in Dragon magazine? (#3)

DAMN - i bet it was! actually, i found the file in my recylce bin, so no biggie. ;) it wasn't short descriptions, i had posted the monsters in their entirety, and it was from #26-#46. let me repost the ones that made it into our poll, to help people make clearer choices on those few...

    D&D 3.x Creature Catalog 3.5 Overhaul Project

i wouldn't put any specific limitations on when it can use a particular form (especially since most of the forms don't provide any stat benefit) but we can certainly state that it only uses a specific form in certain conditions.

    D&D 3.x Creature Catalog 3.5 Overhaul Project

OK, for this attack, i don't think it should do quite as much damage to touch a nimbus as when it touches you. sort of like, it's focusing its energy to harm you, or "oops, you shouldn't have touched me". Shock (Ex): A nimbus's touch attack deals 5d6 points of electricity damage. Creatures...

    Converting Epic Level Beings

hmm... i think what i meant to say was "crush and hover are right out" ;) so, we'll give him claw/claw/bite routine, snatch feat, and wing buffets? i'll re-read it to be sure, but i guess we can go with that. i'm not particularly familiar with them myself. :) i guess i'll have to go look...

    D&D 3.x Creature Catalog 3.5 Overhaul Project

perhaps. it's not a major power or anything, although there are slight ability variations. mostly it's just changing the shape of its energy-body. well, actually, that second part was something i put in the strategy text originally. i posted it where i posted it, because it related to the...

Converting "generic setting" second edition monsters

do we want it to be able to copy its foes extraordinary special attacks? while it would be great to take certain abilities, this would also invclude things like poison and even things like the mind flayer's brain-eatin.

    Wartle, the Slaad-Lord?

Wartle wasn't meant to be the BBEG for the adventure - in fact, he seems like more of a red herring. ;) of course, if you free him... well, he might be a problem and he might be grateful. :)

    d'oh! i guess i hadn't fixed that. ;)

    Converting monsters from Dungeon Magazine

i don't think the gems should be a part of the cost for the creature - that assumes that the golem's creator needs to create the gems of seeing himself. i'd like to leave them as separate items; if the creator had a couple of them already, then he's in luck, otherwise he's stuck having to...

the insectare, IIRC, were covered in the Dragon issue you mention. :)

Another Creature Catalog query for Dragon? (Pt 2)

tirapheg - like the stwinger, i might just include it on the poll for shits 'n giggles. ;) otherwise, i'll take the first three you mentioned (unless the wraithworm was in the new Draconomicon or something). that wacky poltergiest... maybe, with a name change. :) as for the greelox, well...
