    D&D 4E Rich Baker: Bladesinger & Battlerager - Paragon paths in 4E!

Well, in R&C it mentioned that a swordmage can be a bladesinger, dwarven runic warrior, halfling dervish, or eldrich knight. So really the answer is... you don't need a paragon path to be a bladesinger. But the paragon path will probably add some unique mid-level flavor to make the bladesinger...

D&D 4E Rich Baker: Teleport Rituals, Gates, & Teleport at will in 4E!

Agreed. I guess what I'm saying is that gates are still inconvenient. So if demons/devils are relying more on gates, then the ritual must be even more inconvenient than finding the nearest gate.

Rich Baker: Drow & Dwarves the same height???

Could very well be true, but... it would just seem wierd to me if they make all these fundamental changes to the races, then don't make any of those changes in FR. I mean, they've stated already that they want most people that pick up the game to make the jump to FR. It would make sense for the...

D&D 4E Rich Baker: Teleport Rituals, Gates, & Teleport at will in 4E!

Considering he says that Devils/Demons will be relying more on gates... that sounds more like a plot thing as opposed to just an hour long cast with an expensive component.

Rich Baker: Drow & Dwarves the same height???

Source Drow were always the smallest of the elves, though they technically still have an average height of 5'2". Dwarves are going to be over 5' tall now, which puts them right on par with drow. Drow & Dwarves the same height... huh...

    D&D 4E Rich Baker: Bladesinger & Battlerager - Paragon paths in 4E!

Personally I think the Bladesinger will be introduced as a Paragon Path in the Arcane book (at the same time the Swordmage class is released.)

Wizards still cast Enchantment, Illusions, Necromancy

I must be high level! I did that just the other night...

Rich Baker on Paladin Mounts and Multiclassing

considering that the Paragon paths are not class specific (i.e. at least 3 classes should be able to take any given path) I would imagine that we are seeing the loss of the "Paladin" mount in favor of a "special mount". So we could have wizards that gain an ostitch to ride on, or rangers that...

Wizards still cast Enchantment, Illusions, Necromancy

So... um... Would a copromancer be thwarted by clerics of Mr. Clean?

Rich Baker on Paladin Mounts and Multiclassing

It's not an old quote because he posted that yesterday.

Rich Baker on Paladin Mounts and Multiclassing

Earlier in that post he lamented that he might get in trouble for how much he is being quoted on ENWorld lately. He is probably being very choosey on what words he uses so as not to let too much out of the bag.

    D&D 4E 4e D&D PC games

About 4 weeks ago (I believe) the CEO of Atari stepped down and they announced that they weren't going to be developing games anymore and would focus on other areas of their business. I remember reading the story on G4TV.com

Rich Baker on Paladin Mounts and Multiclassing

Well, in R&C they mentioned "familiar" being an impliment for wizards (like staff/wand) that they will impliment in a later supliment. So wizard familars are cut for now. :( No clue on animal companions.

What Metallic Dragons do you want?

I know this isn't exactly what you mean, but we kinda have this already. Swamp Dragon? - Black Dragon Underdark Dragon? - Deep Dragon Feywild Dragon? - Green Dragon Shadowfell Dragon? - Shadow Dragon Sea Dragon? - Bronze Dragon & turtle dragon etc, etc...

    Spell List vs Ritual List

I would imagine that the casting time on rituals will vary. Raise Dead, for instance, would clearly need to be an hour casting or more to avoid trying to get a casting off during a long combat. Others could easily be a minute depending on the spell. I would love to see Remove Curse taking all...

Wizards still cast Enchantment, Illusions, Necromancy

In the Worlds & Monsters thread, there is mention of a power source called shadow. Perhaps this could be the source of magic for an Illusionist and Necromancer class. I would like that very much! Not only would those two specialists have different abilities from a wizard, but they would be...
