    Custom divine abilities, portfolios, etc.

Sounds reasonable to me, though given how powerful the portfolio is, it might not be inappropriate to let any Soul Object bypass their Cosmic String. Maybe one for Single and all Soul Objects for Double? Speaking of powerful, there's another mistake up there, for the Double, God Devourer...

I never got the book, either. Sorry, wish I could help.

    Immortals Metamagic

Actually, the way it's written now, Telluric has no effect unless the same spell is used twice, so, since you're technically casting the same spell (Telluric Fireball or whatever) rather than Telluricx2 Fireball or somesuch, then, yeah, LSI would likely work against it. Also, I assume it's...

    Immortals Metamagic

Hey, U_K. I fully understand why it happened that way and I don't really fault you for it, I just thought I'd take a stab at it myself. :) I like the idea of expanding Empower to cover that enire chain of feats, so I think I'll cut those. I also like the idea of the...

That's...a very good point. I wonder what I was thinking, because that definitely made sense when I wrote it.

    Immortals Metamagic

Hey, U_K (and others). :) I've noticed (or at least perceived) that, unlike the regular game, casters are hugely gimped in higher-level Immortals Handbook play. The sheer synergy of all the physcial abilities gives melee's a huge advantage, or at least it seems that way to me, mostly because...

    Epic/Immortal Prestige Classes

I like the Soul Eater a lot, it reminds of Cotillion the Rope, Patron God of Assassins, from the Malazan Book of the Fallen, who, among other feats, decerberates people with his rope through their eye-sockets. Fun. That said, there's already a class of the same name in the Book of Vile...

    Epic/Immortal Prestige Classes

Dragon 297 had a bunch of epic prestige classes, one of which, I just remembered, was an epic assassin with advanced spellcasting through Improved Spell Capacity and an expanded list of 6, 7, 8, and 9th level Assassin spells. Might be worth considering, though I do think it's from 3.0 If...

    Epic/Immortal Prestige Classes

Well, then you get the issue of adding INT twice if you're an Assassin/Wizard. But something along those lines would work I think. For another ability, how about being able to either steal or just "use up" a certain number of spell levels by forgoing Sneak Attack dice?

    Epic/Immortal Prestige Classes

Sounds good to me. So, if you can put together a basic layout, maybe, that we can use as a foundation. I'd be happy to try and make it work for "normal" epic play and then work on an Immortals version afterwards. I'm thinking an assassin/warlock should be a separate class too, so I think...

    Epic/Immortal Prestige Classes

It's in Complete Divine too. They steal spells and SLAs from opponents, similar to a Spellthief. Taking into account the Maskim in the Bestiary and its ability to SA on every hit, I'd hardly say that Void Presence is overpowered for an Immortals Handbook game. (I'm assuming that's the ability...

    Epic/Immortal Prestige Classes

For some reason the concept reminds be vaguely of the Ur-Priest in the Book of Vile Darkness, the actual abilities, not the flavor behind them. Also, when balancing, keep in mind the Void Incarnate class that's free on Wizards' site (just google Void Incarnate) as it is, right now, THE premier...

    Epic/Immortal Prestige Classes

Okay, I'm short on time here, so I can't quote everything. I like both your ideas for BA, the 5 level advancement and the HD. Likewise, that's a cool idea for the Godslayer andmaybe I can stretch it's levels out a little too. (Not that there's anything wrong with 10, I just feel that in...

    Epic/Immortal Prestige Classes

Heh, you should check out Ascension sometime. Neither of those are really that out of line...powerful, yes, possibly too much as class abilities, but both those that you mentioned already exist. In fact, one can get x5 crit/multiplier with Perfect Critical/Multiplier, granting 16-20/x16...

    Epic/Immortal Prestige Classes

Let's see... For BA, it had more to do with the holistic layout of abilities, I'll have to look for a way to rearrange them so it ends at 20th. In all honesty, it is overpowered, I have a player whose used the class for 2 of the 3 styles and he routinely ended fight in a single round, albeit...

    Epic/Immortal Prestige Classes

Seneschal Hand of the divine, mortal emissaries of heaven’s fury, the Senecheaux are soldiers of retribution directly sponsored by their deities to mete out judgment and vengeance upon enemies of the faith. Though not entirely divine, as they progress through the Senechal prestige class...

    Epic/Immortal Prestige Classes

Godslayer Hatred can be a powerful weapon, when channeled correctly. It can inflict vile curses, horrifying ravages, and even scar the soul of its victim, depending on whence the animosity is directed and how virulent the hatred’s insidious malice truly is. And from the loathsome, vile...

    Epic/Immortal Prestige Classes

Battle Ascendant In the swarming carnage of a battlefield, surrounded by the bodies of his fallen comrades, a warrior is forced to surpass his limits. If he is to survive, he must become something more than mortal, an apotheosis of skill at arms that cannot be equaled. This state of mind...

    Epic/Immortal Prestige Classes

This is something I've noticed lacking around here. I remember WAY back U_K had some ideas for some, but I can't remember what thread that was or what they were. I have two here that I've been working on, the Battle Ascendant and the Godslayer. They're...probably overpowered. Comments welcome...
