I'm a gamer who plays D&D because that seems to be one of the few games in town. I run it and spend money on it because I have a group of players I like and I want them (and myself) to have a good time. I'd rather run other games, and maybe after a time I'll get to do that with my group.

My problem with getting side tracked is feeling that as a group we didn't get far in the adventure when the night is over. We play two 4 hour sessions a month, and we've stretched out the same dungeon crawl for the three months now.
