I think I am leaning towards Puppy Love. PC deaths used to be much more common in my campaigns, but I had been going soft recently. After all, I do enjoy characters with a full fledged background and history more than having some new character every other session.

Glad you are still enjoying it. The setting is really great. It offers a vastness of storytelling opportunities without being overwhelming. That the sourcebooks and adventures are a fun read helps a lot as well, of course.

And, incidentally, he got his first level in the Incarnate Prestige Class at the end of that session, so that he was able to turn into his first past-life form in the next session... :)
