Just started on The Virtues of War by Steven Pressfield (liked Gates of Fire a lot), and this one is a good read. I have Shadowmarch and Shadowplay by Tad Williams on the back burner, and just got Book 9 of Dresden Files in from the library, can't wait to start reading!

Yeah, but I'm really disgusted with how they are showing episodes out of order. I think it would have been better if they had shown all of the episodes in order, rather than do it this way. This episode felt like it was the 4th or 5th episode to be shown, IMO. Stupid Sci fi.

Both Rainbow's End and Glasshouse are excellent tales. I'll have to go read the others before I decide which should win in my eyes, but I really liked what I've read so far. Rainbow's End, in particular is a great, great, book.

To add to other people's stated reasons, it's also appears that there are a second layer of shields that protect the bridge area when the ship goes to Yellow Alert (as seen in the second movie, as Reliant approaches).
