    hmm A dm could always punish players for not playing tactically...even in 3E. I do this all the time. 4E though, has very artificial tactics (ie. forced moves which can put you into a position for some secondary attack by let's say a warlock, etc). True tactics, seem to be even less IMHO...

    balrog i remember reading balrog in some mythology. I believe toklien took the name but changed the form of it. Then D&D changed it to balor. And warhammer changed it to bloodthirster, etc. Sanjay

    hmmm I think the art in the 3.5E MM is kinda better than this. The design for this is great..but the actual art style. Personally, i wish they went for the level of detail as the concept art I saw some time ago for the forgeworld bloodthirster, which is based on the balor/balrog anyways...
