How does your character dress -- subtle or vibrant?

Since color choice in character costuming doesn't effect skills like Hide, Diplomacy or Disguise, do you describe your character as having brash, vibrant or weird colors?

    Product Hint for 2007?

Another option to amp Fey would be to allow them to gain class levels, the most common being druid, barbarian, ranger and rogue.

Has Anyone played the d20 Gamma World game?

Also check out Fantasy Flight Games' Redline, which is closer to Mad Max d20, but has some mutations and other Sci-Fi elements in it. Pretty cool game that I'd love to actually play some time ... sigh ... if only all my co-players would lay off D&D once in a while. Here's the Redline site...

    No Prestige classes allowed

I've been playing 3rd edition since it came out and only this year did anyone (me) use a prestige class. The other players and DM think they're weird.

    Where are hte polearms?

D&D's dislike for pole arms might have been created in 1st edition D&D when Weapon Speed Factors were in use. This figure (which reflected the time it took to use a weapon in combat) essentially pushed anyone with a pole arm way back in the initiative order. With that squirming around in the...

    New DM Problem: Describing Attacks.

Additional suggestions & notes: >>> If you, the DM, start using descriptive attacks, the players will often follow suit. >>> The biggest problem is when players expect you to alter your battle plan if they create descriptive attacks that would naturally have reprecussions. Some interesting news about 4th edition

If it is true, I would hope it would be an optional rule to use the cards. Unless the D&D mechanic changes completely, I can't imagine how one would use random cards for things like feats and spells, even if you held five or six in your hand that you could choose from while drawing off the...

    What Adventures Focus on Yuan-Ti?

Dungeon 105 (the Warduke issue) has "Racing the Snake." The basic premise: The party must lead a Yuan-Ti assassin on a wild-goose chase. The PCs impersonate his intended victim and pull him off into the wilderness while the real "victim" is shuttled off to safety. Once the PCs are sure the...

    Your Best Villain

Mine was a Yuan-ti monk with an amulet of teleportation. She would jump in on the characters, take what she wanted, wallop who she wanted and be gone a turn later. She was able to monitor the PCs activities thanks to another NPC who let the monk watch their activities with his scrying ability.
