I think that for a lot of folks, the phrase "anime" means "cartoonish." More of a word-choice issue than a slight. Personally, I'm a little let-down with the RoF artwork--the previous 3e FR products seemed to have a darker, baroque kind of look. Too bad it was too expensive.
