You guys need to switch to de-calf.

    How powerful is Crimson Edge?

Agreed. Proficiencies aren't a big deal. IMO, the real issue is the ability of other weapons to work with both sneak attack and rogue powers. Is your elf really going to use a bow if none of his class abilities function with it?

Thank you. Your fervency is appreciated.

    How powerful is Crimson Edge?

How does that work? The examples "Paladin 27" and "Rogue Utility 2" make it difficult for me to imagine a framework that makes sense.

    D&D 4E 4E Combat Rounds and Perception

In my case, the players are experienced. They're also slow. Being just another player, there isn't much I can do about it other than jawbone, but that depends entirely on them caring.

    D&D 4E 4E Combat Rounds and Perception

In a 10th level campaign, I can pretty reliably go have a smoke after my turn, and the next guy isn't finished with his by the time I get back.

    Constant Powers?

Hasn't it been stated that one design goal is that feats do not grant new abilties but expand on old ones?

    Constant Powers?

    1) I hear you. I tend to opt for anything other than a critter for my characters. Something like Rogue tactics comes to mind as a means of addressing the problem. 2) It's a little rigid but perhaps paths will provide additional class abilities. Don't know enough to make a decent guess.

    Constant Powers?

I'd expect those to fall under class abilties like sneak attack rather than powers per se.

    Ampersand: Sneak Attack

Fortunately, it's very likely that a rogue can wield a greatsword. It will simply suck as an option.

I'm impressed by the detail, particularly the 5 o'clock shadow and adam's apples on the female figures.

    How powerful is Crimson Edge?

Interesting. It seems that the majority view is that we'll be seeing 20+ level rogue abilities. Looking over the paladin smites and the rogue attacks, there does seem to be a pattern that attacks fall on odd levels. If that's more than incidental, that allows the developers to deal with 15...

    How powerful is Crimson Edge?

I've been out of the loop for awhile on 4e developments and am hoping you guys can help me get a handle on the power curve for class powers. Taking a look at the paladin smite article, we see that binding smite is labeled "Paladin 27". It occurs to me that in a 30 level system, this is likely...

    Rogue Crossbowmen: The ultimate sniper?

Crossbow sniper is good, but I believe the feat referred to in this case is Deadeye shot from the same book.

    D&D 4E The 4E Rogue...love it or hate it?

While reviewing the powers, I immediately thought of Kalam Mekhar from the Malazan books, and that's a good thing.
