    My conjurer can cast Cure Serious Wounds, or..?

    Which I just find out that I never will! :eek: I just checked and found out that it's an evocation spell, which is one of my forbidden schools. Dang, I'm gonna miss having Contingency ! :\

    My conjurer can cast Cure Serious Wounds, or..?

    I guess so; it was Necro in Comp. Divine, which was were I found it.

    My conjurer can cast Cure Serious Wounds, or..?

    That would be pretty awesome! I could swap my Wu Jen spell for Last Breath. I need to look into those. Where are they from? They are both conj spells, I presume? Edit: I found them both. Unfortunately, Last Breath is a necromancy spell, so that's no good. Revivify could still be cool, but it...

    OotS #470

    Yep, she's gotta have Point Blanc Shot!

    My conjurer can cast Cure Serious Wounds, or..?

    Actually, that's a pretty good idea. :) But I don't think so. We've got two druids in the party , so there should be enough healing to go around (although one is a melee oriented barbarian 3/druid 7). I want to always have one spell prepared, though; one that can heal a decent amount of...

    My conjurer can cast Cure Serious Wounds, or..?

    We tend to run pretty deadly campaigns in my group, so even if only prepare one CSW per day, it can easily turn out to be a lifesaver; for myself or for the other characters.

    Since she's obviously focused on archery, she probably has Point Black Shot, which gives her yet another +1 damage if the enemy is within 30 ft.

    My conjurer can cast Cure Serious Wounds, or..?

    Exactly! The orbs are very much the reason I went for CSW, rather than CCW. ;) Although Haste, Fly and Dispel Magic also require slots. :] PS: If anyone can come up with something better than Heal for my next bonus spell, I'd be both impressed and surprised!

    My conjurer can cast Cure Serious Wounds, or..?

    Rain of Spines is pretty cool. It deals only a moderate amount of damage, but anyone who fails their Reflex save is pinned to the ground by the spines. It like a Hold Monster for conjurerers, with an area of effect! :cool:

    My conjurer can cast Cure Serious Wounds, or..?

    I'm making a new character, a 10th level specialist wizard (conjurer). NOT A SUMMONER, he specializes in direct damage spells. I'm taking the Master Specialist PrC from Comp. Mage, and one of the class features is that a 3 different levels he gets to add one additional free conjuration spell to...

    I Have A Copy of Monster Manual 5.

    Could be. I know it is in the draconomicon, however. I added it to my conjurer PC's spellbook just two days ago. :)

    Funny "victory" lines?

    "Long will the bards sing, of when Alroh made the terrasque dance!" This line came from the party rogue, after the wizard's Otto's Irresistable Dance saved them from a near-TPK.

    Funny "victory" lines?

    "I'm a sexy, shoe-less God of war!" is definitely my favorite yell of victory. It's not from my game, though... ;)

    Int = IQ?

    I didn't; others did. I have no idea how exactly. My source for this is an encyclopedia of dogs. I read it an article about IQ, years ago. Can't remember where, I'm afraid. I listed examples of how much IQ was needed for different tasks. The one with the door was the one that stuck in my mind...

    Int = IQ?

    An average dog has roughly the same IQ as a 3 year old human child. If we assume Int 3 is the minimum needed for speech, dogs should have Int 3 too; since 3 year olds can usually speak more or less coherently (if not perfectly). Assuming a dog has an IQ of 25-30 (as you're guessing, and it...

    Vikings D20

    Really cool news! There is an epic Viking movie trilogy in the not-too-distant future! :) And even better: They intend to make it historically correct, and to portray the Vikings as they really were, not as blood thirsty, two-dimensional stereotypes! :D They're basing their Viking...

    Essential Healing

    Getting back to LotR: After the wraith stabs Frodo on Weathertop, Aragorn mentions that only the healing magic of the elves can heal him. Which it does (more or less).

    What mini-bosses do you love sending at the players?

    Whenever my players encounter a cute little halfling woman, they get nervous. The more innocent she seems, the more they fear her. If she's all rosy-cheeked, smiling and friendly, they'll soon be convinced she's just about to slaughter them! :p Class-wise, I like bosses (big or mini) with lots...

    Deck of Many Things results

    I've seen the deck used in four campaigns. It utterly ruined all four of them... :(

    Skillmonkey fighter?

    Just be patient a little while longer, until the editing on Vikings D20 is done, then play a Viking. ;) Yeah, I know, I'm a shameless plugger... :heh:
