    Demon and Devil lords

According to the rumblings about this book, Clark's apparently working very closely with WotC to make sure the book's kosher. They're even removing those monsters that would overlap with the Monster Manual II. So I think they've figured out what needs to be done.

Is a signed PH worth anything?

Unfortunately, the only ones that command more than the retail price are the ones that Eric Noah signed, which go for around $200 at auction. But some weirdo named Kevin Kulp bought all of those. Damn his eyes.

    Question for Creature Catalog/Necromancer Games

Will the Tome of Horrors (as I believe the new title is) contain the missing Daemons/Demons/Devils and Archdaemons/Demon Lords/Archdevils from the Creature Catalog, or has WotC laid claim to them? It'd just kick butt to see Anthraxus or Orcus actually in print again.

    Yeenoghu not open content?

How about mentioning Yeenoghu in the same context that the D&D products do? IE Monte mentioned Yeenoghu as a demon lord to compare his creation, Ochremesk to. I mean, as nearly as I can tell, the name Yeenoghu was a creation of 1E D&D (as opposed to the name Orcus, which as I said existed...

    Yeenoghu not open content?

Well, what I'm asking here is was it a snafu when Monte mentioned Yeenoghu in Demon God's Fane, or might the gnoll demon prince actually be fair game should Chris Pramas want to write about him?

    Yeenoghu not open content?

In his recent ENWorld chat, Chris Pramas laments that Yeenoghu isn't open content. However, I recently picked up the print version of Monte's adventure, the Demon God's Fane. In the appendix on the title antagonist, Yeenoghu is mentioned in passing. I know Orcus is open content because his...

Post Monster Man. II, what next?

Most sources are saying this Fall for Dragonlance. First book will be written by Sovereign Stone, but published by WotC. Further releases will be done entirely by Sovereign Stone.

The best adventure nobody's running! What gives?

The market's glutted with adventures. They seem to be the first thing any d20 company publishes. I pretty much limit myself to Necromancer and Fiery Dragon unless I get a big recommendation, because I've found that those two game studios develop stuff that I like. I just don't know that about...

GURPS - a matter of style and setting.

Read GURPS Cabal yet? It's also by Ken Hite, and includes the Reality Quake concept as a minor theme. GURPS Horror tells how to combine the two, so that almost makes a full Madness Dossier setting.

    [OT] Amber: new novels

I did, but my players didn't like the lack of structure. Plus, since Amber is fantasy, but had guns and tanks and stuff too, GURPS just worked the easiest without tweaks.

    [OT] Amber: new novels

The World Jumping rules for GURPS worked out the best for simulating walking through Shadow, as did the Snatcher advantage. Had to make up custom systems for all the others, so I'd say the GURPS sessions we did were the most painless.

*rips off Satan's mask* Old Man Withersby! Oh, wait, that's a mask too. *rips off Satan's mask* Steve Jackson! No, that also looks like a mask. *rips off Satan's mask* John Wick! Who knew?

JUDAS Everytime I look at you I don't understand Why you let the things you do get so out of hand You'd have managed better if you'd had it planned. Why'd you choose such a backward time in such a strange land? If you'd come today you would have reached the whole nation. Israel in 4 BC had no...

GURPS - a matter of style and setting.

Not my point. Fact is, the thread's been more or less hijacked from its original topic. ...but in this case it's unsolicited advice. Read the first post. Psionicist said he was going with GURPS, and asked people to suggest GURPS supplements and settings to him. How is it your burden to convince...

GURPS - a matter of style and setting.

Aieee! We tried to shoo them away, but they came back! They must be breeding! See, this is what you get with the OGL! Not all things will convert well to d20 until the system matures more. Until then, I still enjoy, and will likely continue to enjoy GURPS. Which is what this thread is about. I...

3 Sure-Fire Ways to Run A Successful Horror Adventure!

Good tactics. To extrapolate, never refer to a monster by its proper MM name. Always describe them in an alien and unfamiliar way so the players are never sure what it is that they're dealing with. Things like "skeletons" might be immune to this treatment, but even they could be presented in...

    HELP HELP dragon magazine problem!!

You could order one from Talon. I think he ships internationally. Be a bit expensive to cover the shipping, though.
