Also note, that the original books are a blast to read. They are the most entertaining, none dry RPG rule books I have ever read.. The combat chapter, if I remember right is title...."Blowing Things to Hell."

The samurai's daisho in OA and Rokogan have a similar ability, they dont function as a magical weapon to anyone save them. To everyone else they are a masterwork weapon.. Check it out...

I have a friend who works on the boats that bring supplies and people to those rigs. I know his job pays well, but they work on a month on/two weeks off cycle. He works like a dog, but seems to enjoy it. As for on the oil rigs, no idea. He is based out of New Orleans, so Fat Tuesday is...

At least the idea wasn't given to him by another player. We had that ALL the time in one of my previous groups. One of the guys would say, "Wouldn't it be cool if the monster did this..." and the DM's eyes would like up and it would happened. Sucked. I lost, this being in 2E, 8 magic items...

Four words......Book of the Righteous..... What Deities and Demigods should have been. I have gotten 100 times more use out of the former then the latter.. PS- Creative Mark stuff is really good as well.

I met him at GenCon last year and got to see some of his stuff, and WOW. My fiancee wouldnt let me buy any of the originals... Next time I go, I will though.

The few books that I think are overpriced are the special edition books that come out. Mongoose's Judge Dread with steel cover. Deadlands leatherbound book and the special edition Buffy(whats up with that)... As for 40 to 45 dollars, I personally am not worried about it.

Getting married in about two months, which is really cool. Working a lot of hours with more meetings then you would wish on your worst enemy, which really isnt cool. But, I am enjoying life, and that is something.
