Thinking about it, my thought is that each type of Outsider should fit its plane of existence. Alignment is secondary to what the plane is about. At the risk of retconning old lore, I'd do some reassigning. Elysium - Aasimon should be NG, change my mind. Beastlands - lets move the Guardinals...

That might be a reasonable criticism if it weren't a complete hypothetical. Like I get not liking the omissions but this is just ridiculous.

It's not the same situation. TSR was releasing multiple settings as completely separate product lines along with dozens of products for each setting. The settings often had house rules that altered the game in mutually exclusive ways, making them broadly incompatible or at least very difficult...

The thing about Simulacrum is that with a casting time of 12 Hours it really should impart a level of exhaustion. Same with Hallow.

I like the A5E solution for Simulacrum Cheese: The Simulacrum can't cast spells of 7th level or higher. No Wish, no Simulacrum.

That's an interesting take on integrating the Dragonborn into Greyhawk. I hadn't really thought of tying it to Arkhosia since that was always a Nentir Vale thing and I feel like if either of its great empires colonized other worlds (or eras) it would be the devil-fueled Bael Turath.

I feel like it would make so much more sense if Guardinals were Chaotic Good, Archons were Lawful Good, and Aasimon were neutral good. Why do we need two lawful good types of angels anyway?

Monsters of the Multiverse is still valid and all the neat Drow statblocks were in there anyway. The Matron Mother, Arachnomancer, favored consort, etc.
