The only example I can think of is Healing Word. That's useful for healing the PC's after combat, as it gives the PC's more healing for each use of a Healing Surge, thus resulting in fewer Healing Surges being used to get back up to max.

Humans might have a +1 Initiative bonus, too. Erais has a +1 Initiative bonus, but there's no apparent source for it. So that might be another ability. Has anyone found a way to explain that away without assuming it's a racial trait?
