Reread that article. In the very same article where they bring up the idea of racial levels, they say that they discarded that idea. There are no racial levels, but instead Racial Feats which one can take as they level.

I don't think we're going to be seeing Complete Arcane, Complete Divine, or anything similar. Instead, those new classes will be released in the PHB2, PHB3, etc.

That tends to be the exception with Half-Elves, whereas it tends to be the norm with Half-Orcs. That's the problem, apparently.

Any chance you can tell us how the Point Buy system works? After all, when it comes to spoilers, this is hardly what one would class as a world-shattering spoiler. ;)

I very much doubt you can't use a bow. You just won't be a master with a bow the way a Ranger can be. Which is just as well, as we're talking about a City Watchman, here, not Robin Hood.

If 4E gets rid of stat boosting items, then I find it even more plausible that they will implement that. Besides, as has been said, in a lot of ways Saga is a preview of 4E. That seems like an obvious possibility.

Give a +1 bonus to two stats every 4 levels. That's one thing you can do right away.

I'd prefer for all levels. I don't want to have to toss away my faithful shield at 11th-level because it suddenly becomes mechanically useless.

Nah, I doubt that being under the ground is some kind of prerequisite. It's probably just the Second Wind ability, and the Bulette used it while underground as it wouldn't have to worry about getting attacked by the PC's while it was using Second Wind.

I wouldn't worry. Odds are Druids will see light in the initial PHB.

There're a couple of combos I'd like to try out. 1) Human Paladin - This, first and foremost. That's my favorite race/class combo, so I'd like to see what changes they've made there, ASAP. 2) Human/Dragonborn Fighter - I'd like to try out a Dragonborn, eventually. Either with the Paladin...

Personally, I don't see why gods should be restricted to only having one race worshipping them. Why can't Bahamut have Human worshippers, too, in addition to his dragon worshippers? Or Elf worshippers? Or Dwarf/Dragonborn/Air Genasi/etc worshippers? Why is it that only 'human' deities can have...

I love what I've heard about 4E so far, but I loathe 99.9% of what I've heard about the 4E Realms (Forgotten Realms being my favorite setting). Where does that put me?

It's three $20 game books, not a new car. If I need to count my pennies over the next 6 months in order to buy it when it comes out, then I've got bigger problems I need to be worrying about.
