TIAMAT! Where and what is the power?

Ok, can anyone guess what the domains (I assume domains are still in) of Bahamut and Tiamat will do?

Since Paladins can be of different alignments, do you think choosing a eity will have a mechanical effect; i.e. will they get keWl poWerZ for choosing a deity, such as 3E clerics get when they choose a domain?

In effect, will paladin's get the equivalent of dominas?

It would be cool to play a paladin of tiamat and gain the ability to cause savage wounds, shoot a blast of ferocious dfragonflame, etc.

It would be cool if every deity offered a minor ability that varies by class to each character that follows that deity and also has the right alignment.

For example, lets assume that Bahamut is LG and hates demons. If you are a paladin with LG alignment and revere Bahamut, your smites against demons deal +5 damage. If you are a wizard, your spells have a chance to banish any demon they affect. And so on.

I'll tell you what I DON'T want to see: clerics of Bahamut and Tiamat growing claws, wings and gaining breath weapons.

I think we'll see plenty of that everywhere else. Personally, I'm already tired of it in 3E.

Szaztany's right on, IMO.

I suspect we'll get something for all worshipers, based on the initiate feats in Complete Champion. Having a special feat choice available only to worshipers (or maybe lots of feats, like one per class) would make god choice meaningful without totally handicapping people who didn't choose one.

I don't know about Domains, but as for what Portfolios Bahamut will hold...

Bahamut: Here's another example of a familiar, draconic face showing up in a somewhat new light. Maybe it was the Platinum Knight prestige class in Draconomicon that did it, but something convinced me a long time ago that Bahamut was a much cooler god of paladins than Heironeous ever was. Like Corellon, Bahamut's not just for dragons any more. He's the god of justice, protection, and honor, and many paladins of all races worship him. Many metallic dragons revere him as well, thinking of him as the first of their kind. Some legends about Bahamut describe him as literally a shining platinum dragon, while others describe him as a more anthropomorphic deity, who's called the Platinum Dragon as a title of respect. Exhorting his followers to protect the weak, liberate the oppressed, and defend just order, Bahamut stands as the exemplar of the paladin's ideal.

So, no racial feats for the dragonborn clerics of the dragon gods?

/cry
I have no problems with dragonborn having that due to racial abilities. But if you look at the 3.5 abilities of clerics/favored souls of Bahamut and Tiamat (in Draconomicon, Races of the Dragon and Dragon Magic), they all push the character towards the Dragon Disciple territory.

I want a cleric of Bahamut to have the ability to turn his skin to platinum, or to cause a frost nova (Lord of the North Wind and all).

I want a cleric of Tiamat to summon forth an elemental vortex of fire, cold, acid (twice) and lightning to envelop his foes.
