Does anyone actually like Dragonborn and Tieflings?

Actually, dragonborn are described as being extremely honorable as a race, so the only race that is less anti-hero (by default) than they are would be dwarves, and that's even arguable. So I fully disagree that they fit anti-hero rather well, and say that they actually don't fit anti-hero at...

What about 4th edition made you go AHHHH this is D&D to me.

A combination of me wanting to DM again due to the vast ease of adventure prep, and not looking at any one character class and saying "this sucks" (3e ranger and paladin, I'm looking at you).

"Looks like we're going to win this battle . . . in about 90 minutes from now."

I haven't experienced this yet; although, we did experience a fight that just drug out absolutely forever, but that was due to monsters splitting the party up and the party using horrid tactics (like park in a vexing cloud and eat -2 to hit for the entire fight, then ask me why you can't hit...

    Stealth Flow Chart

Not to trivialize your work, but the fact that this chart is even necessary is just...it makes me want to kick things. It doesn't even go into combat detail, involving combat advantage and what not. This chart could feasibly be twice as large.

    D&D 4E You Don't Need a Healer in 4E... Yeah Right!

Yep. And dwarves get +2 to all weapon damage and +1 AC and Reflex vs. large targets. When they take a feat. Your post, it does nothing, much like the goggles.

    Why can't wizards heal?

Yeah...go read Firestorm (cleric 19 daily); then, go read Astral Storm (cleric 29 daily) and tell me they don't cast "wizard" spells ("wizard" in this case meaning heavy damage over a large area--more, actually, than said wizard is capable of coming up with).

    The tragedy of 4th edition.

Go read cleric, then fix your post. Aren't you the guy that made a whole set of awesome power cards?

Does anyone actually like Dragonborn and Tieflings?

All races have those. Your comment is pants on head retarded. :)

Does anyone actually like Dragonborn and Tieflings?

You (admittedly, very few) folks who keep comparing dragonborn to "furries" are putting some pretty awkward sexual connotations toward those of us that do like dragonborn; whether it's toward our characters or us personally is irrelevant. Said connotations hardly seem appropriate to this board...

    "You possess a spellbook."

Let's see: Rituals, ritual components, or maybe a healing potion. How the heck, indeed. If you pay 50g for a spellbook you could barely afford components to cast each of your rituals one time. The spellbook is free. You start with 3 mastered rituals. You cannot have mastered rituals if they...

    D&D 4E You Don't Need a Healer in 4E... Yeah Right!

Healing potions are standard treasure, and they should be getting upwards of 1 per person per level for free just by adventuring. As they only cost 50g, I don't really see why they wouldn't have several per character. I've noticed the complete opposite as far as "swingyness". The poorer your...

    D&D 4E You Don't Need a Healer in 4E... Yeah Right!

Yeah, I told them. I'd be lying if I said it didn't do anything; the characters would notice. Not that it made any difference.

    New 2009 Products up.

Couldn't they just release psionics to the DDI?

Does anyone actually like Dragonborn and Tieflings?

I'm going in a different direction with this. I'm so bored and fed up with elves in D&D, but they went ahead and added a third elf option to the core. So now, given random chance, fully 3 out of every 8 players in my game will be some type of elf. Yuck, to say the least. Bring on the new races.

    D&D 4E You Don't Need a Healer in 4E... Yeah Right!

Yeah my players are "button mashers". They don't really understand how to set themselves up for dailies, often just repeat the same at-will attacks (and then complain about boredom and combat length) in difficult fights, and only use action points when prompted. We've got a paladin/warlord...

Why is Firestorm the best 19th level control spell?

The problem with this line of argument is that control is defined as dealing lots of damage to lots of bad guys. Plus if you've got enemy-only fire cooking in an 11x11 area (easily half the area of your average battlefield size) that is really good control, even if you're not immobilizing...
